I prefer one-piece suits, and always have and this one is a new fun way to wear a swimsuit, love that it’s a dress with built-in skirt, versus a separate skirt you tie on. The neckline is flattering, and the straps are adjustable. The only wish I had is that the skirt sat higher on my waist, instead of at my hips. I think that would make this absolutely perfect! The material is thick and doesn’t appear to be see-through, so that’s a major plus. I ordered a size L based on the size chart and my cup size (per their recommendation) 38C and this fits great! The downside: poor gingham print quality ⭐ The gingham pattern doesn’t look as crisp as it does in the listing photos. Up close, it reads more like a cheap printed pattern rather than that classic, clean gingham you’d expect from a vintage-inspired suit. The print looks a little flat and slightly less “boutique” than anticipated. Because of that, it doesn’t really give true pin-up or retro event energy. It’s more of a “hot tub use only” / casual pool day swimsuit than something you’d wear to a vintage-themed gathering or styled photoshoot. Overall If you want a comfortable, flattering swim dress with good coverage, this is a great choice — especially for relaxing in the hot tub or pool. I don’t think it even needs the skirt, but I think the most important thing is for people to be comfortable at the beach or the pool, and the skirt can definitely help with modesty or covering up certain problem areas.
