I’ve worn this swimsuit on three different pool trips over the past week, and it’s become my favorite one piece. The tummy control actually works without feeling restrictive or uncomfortable. The wide waistband sits right at my natural waist and smooths everything out, which gives me confidence when I’m walking around or getting in and out of the water. The color blocking with the black base and neon accents is flattering and eye catching without being too loud. The contrast trim creates visual lines that elongate the torso and define the waist. I got compliments each time I wore it, which doesn’t usually happen with swimsuits. I’m smaller chested, and the U-wire construction with adjustable straps gives me actual support and lift without needing padding. I kept the removable cups in for a bit more coverage and shape, and they stayed in place through swimming and movement. The V-neck is deep enough to be flattering but not so low that I’m constantly adjusting it. The fabric is lightweight and stretchy with good recovery. It doesn’t sag or bag out after being in the water, which has been an issue with other suits I’ve owned. It dries relatively quickly when I’m lounging between swims, and the material doesn’t feel heavy or clingy when wet. The ruched detailing on the sides adds texture and helps camouflage any midsection concerns. The placement is strategic and actually functional rather than just decorative. The moderate coverage on the bottom is comfortable for active beach activities without riding up. I ordered my usual size medium based on the size chart, and it fits true to size. The straps are long enough to adjust for my torso length, and the leg openings don’t cut in or gap. The suit stays in place during swimming, diving, and beach volleyball without constant readjustment. The quality of construction is solid. The stitching is even and reinforced at stress points, and the elastic hasn’t stretched out after multiple wears and washes. There’s a lot to like about this swimsuit, but I do have a few complaints. Let me break it down for you: The pros- it’s cute! I love the black body with the splashes of color. It’s just enough to make it a little more interesting. I even like the belted part, which I honestly wasn’t sure about, and I do still think it looks a little better in the pics than in person, but it seems like it’s strategically placed in a way that hides some of my “rolls” and kind of smooths everything out (no small feat). I’m not sure if it’s the weight of the fabric or the design or both, but it really does seem to hide a lot of the things I want hidden, and it’s a pretty flattering cut overall. It seems very well made- no flaws at all, all of the seams are straight, the colorful edging is sewn on perfectly, etc. It’s also an amazing deal at this price. The cons- although I like the fit for the most part, and it seems to stay in place, no wedgies or riding up, there’s something a little off in the front, at least for me…it’s like there’s a little too much fabric or it’s a tiny bit too wide in the crotch area, it kind of makes it bunch up a tiny bit around the legs and the edges fold under a little. It’s not a deal breaker but mostly just a bit annoying. I also find that the shoulder straps REALLY don’t want to stay in place, and by that I actually mean the buckle itself that adjusts the length. I kept having to tighten them over and over again because they wouldn’t stay that way. I’m also rather busty, and while I do think this suit looks great and can mostly support a larger lady like myself, it’s definitely not perfect. That’s partly because of the issue with the straps, but it also just felt like if I was actually swimming or doing anything active, I might just pop out in all the wrong places. There’s a lot of cleavage happening here and it’s so low cut in the front, I feel like I might try to add a few stitches or a safety pin there to keep everything where it should be! So for the most part, I think this is a great suit- it’s comfortable, flattering, has cute details and it’s a good price. I took off one star because, even though I can make a few easy alterations to make if work better for me, it would be great if it was perfect right out of the package! If it offered just a tiny bit more support in the bust or was perhaps not quite as low cut, and if the straps weren’t constantly loosening, it would definitely be a 5-star swimsuit. Read more

So I was torn between the size small and medium. I know usually people size up, and even though I’m short at 5’3” I have a long torso. I tend to be leaner in the summer. 5 to 10 pounds lighter. So I went with the small. I was pleasantly surprised to find the size small fit, which means in Summer it’ll be PERFECT! The pink is that bright pink. The photo shows it darker than the neon pink it is. And the photo doesn’t show details on the “belt” under the chest. Also has straps you can adjust. It’s not a high-cut leg fit. But still sexy. Flattering. I don’t know if it is really tummy flattening, but it gives appearance of slim waist with the use of faux belt. Also has padded chest area. To keep the girls from showing everything, and appearance of sized up. Whether you size up, or keep your size, I think you’ll be perfect. Even sizing up will fit perfectly. I’m 123 lbs and ordered a size small. The colors are vibrant and the fabric is comfortable against the skin. The bathing suit material itself fits well and feels supportive, which I was happy with. Unfortunately, the overall fit is inconsistent. The belt detail in the front is extremely loose and does not sit flush on the body, even in the smallest size. This throws off the look and makes the suit feel less flattering, as you can see in the photos. While the material and color are nice, the poor fit of the belt detail detracts from the overall design. Read more
