I recently purchased this swimsuit primarily for use during my Bod Pod assessments as part of my weight loss journey. I needed something skin-tight and made of spandex, and with summer approaching, I also wanted a cute bathing suit. This one met all my criteria. For context, I’m 5’3”, weigh 207 lbs, and wear a 42DD bra size, with a curvier bottom. Finding swimwear that accommodates my body type can be challenging, and I noticed a lack of reviews from women with similar measurements. I opted for the XL size, and overall, I’m pleased with the fit. The swimsuit offers a flattering look with a tummy control feature that boosts my confidence. However, I do have a concern regarding the bottom coverage. The material doesn’t fully cover my backside, and I anticipate needing to wear shorts over the bottoms to feel comfortable, especially when swimming. Despite this, the swimsuit feels great and looks stylish. I haven’t had the chance to test it in water yet, so I can’t speak to its performance when wet. I purchased a size larger than what was recommended and it fits perfect! Normally I wear a size 12, but many of the swimsuits purchased here tend to be a little smaller so I took the next size. First, I want to say that even though I am returning this bathing suit, I really loved it. I couldn’t decide between this pink and the bright blue so I ordered both to see which was prettier. The contrasting of the pink was extremely attractive and gave the illusion of a 2 piece with the support and security of a 1 piece. So very pretty. The blue had no contrasting bottom but color wise, equally pretty. I ordered both in size large and it fit perfectly-except for the bust. Now, I AM a busty girl. My girls have a few decades on them, but I saw a YouTube video where a reviewer said it even worked for a busty girl. I guess GIRL is the operative word. Maybe if I was in my 20’s or 30’s the girls would have not needed more support but this suit offered no support. As in, the breasts would eventually poke out below the bust line. Now, on the side that goes up like a tank top-that had more support than the side with just the strap. The cup liners are too small as well and do not stay in place and give the bust line from the front a very lumpy appearance. I did try taking out the liners but it offered even less support (not unexpected but I was hopeful!) It has a very flattering (hubby said it looked great,) good coverage overall, nice quality fabric and gorgeous colors. If I could have gotten past the bust support I would have definitely kept one, but I don’t wan’t to spend my time constantly repositioning the girls when I am trying to enjoy a day on my brothers boat! This swim suit is so flattering around the waist. The cut of the suit is in between. A modest and mid rise at thigh. Bought this to wear on a family vacation (in laws, siblings, etc). I’m a mother of two. I wanted something that was modest, flattering, and supportive of the “girls” — but also something I’d still feel good/confident in! I am 5’2”, 170 lbs, and wear a size 36DD for size reference. I ordered a size large and it fits perfect! The spaghetti strap is removable if you don’t want to have it on. The material is nice and seems well made/durable. I don’t normally write reviews, especially with photos, but I came back to write this review to help other ladies like me who need to see things on real bodies to know if they’ll look good on me or not!
