This is the product I didn't even know I needed all my life! I have fine hair and am always trying to find something that isn't too heavy but adds volume and this does just that. I normally pair it with their Dry Shampoo and dust it in a few strategic places - it blends right in and the combination of them together helps create - dare I say - a dreamy Bridget Bardot volume I've always wanted. Five Stars! I also in general love everything this brand does as the quality of product is the highest out there but with clean earth friendly chic packaging and most importantly clean and safe ingredients. As a cancer survivor it is really hard to find good products that work that are clean and everything Blu and Green does is a bullseye for me - thank you for making the best products! Read more

I found the tactile feel of the texture dust very interesting. Just a quick tap from the bottle adds incredible volume and texture so little goes a long way. It can be felt throughout the hair, offering a rougher texture that might be new if you're not used to it. My hair is neither thin nor thick, so I don’t rely on this product all the time, but it’s definitely a versatile option. This texture dust is your go to for effortless, long-lasting styles. It provides the grip and structure needed to craft everything from tousled, beachy looks to voluminous updos or shaping short styles. Its formula delivers a matte finish and a moldable, touchable hold, all with a subtle fragrance-free scent. Read more

The dust does work on my thin hair, but it tangled so badly it was really hard to get a comb through. Also it felt a bit sticky - it has been raining off and on for days so that may have contributed. With dry season/winter coming I'll try again more than once. The packaging is no joy. There is so little contrast between the ink and background that it would be hard to read even if the type wasn't miniscule. With bright light and a magnifier I was able to read the directions which didn't tell me if it was to be used with wet or dry hair. I read reviews and got a better handle on it. The cardboard packing, as environmentally friendly as it is, will swell and allow the powder to absorb moisture. I live in a very humid area, especially if you love open windows. I had an empty spice bottle that holds the container to keep it in. This should work if the lid won't go back on and keep the powder dry enough to use. I think the usefulness of this product depends a great deal on your environment and lifestyle. Read more

I had no idea what to expect from using this product. I wondered how it was different from dry shampoo. I have longish straight hair, fine/medium texture. It has no curl or waviness but is naturally flat without much body. I like to use a curling iron but my hair never wants to hold a curl so I absolutely must use a volumizing product that adds texture. Much to my surprise as soon as I added some of this power to my hair, I could immediately feel the grippy-ness. And the volume. My hair fluffed right up - in a good way! it was amazing. It really added a lot to my hair while actual dry shampoo does nothing for me. This didn't leave any residue, it has no odor. I didn't sprinkle directly but I put some in my hand & then massaged it through my hair. It comes in a paper container which is fine with me. I didn't have any problem with it. I had no issues opening it or sprinkling some out.. It's more eco-friendly ... just don't get it wet. I like the clean ingredients, no sulfates or parabens. And that it's cruelty-free. The only concern is that it seems pricey for such a small container. I don't know if I will go through it too quickly. I wish it were a larger size as $26 (the price at the time of this review) for this very small amount seems expensive. But for me it works and good hair products do cost more, so it might be a reasonable value. Time will tell.. Read more

This hair texture dust is great for days when your hair isn't cooperating. This powder is super easy to style with and get a natural look to your hair style without needing a ton of time in the salon chair. I also like that the tube is small so you can carry it with you on the go if you need to go out and might have to reapply. Using this has given me some of my best hair days! Read more

This hair styling powder does do most of what it claims it will do for your hair. There were some huge drawbacks, however. I have thin straight shoulder length hair. And I don’t have much hair styling skills. I need something easy peasy. I’ll start with the good. It gave my hair texture and volume. It kept it put (it stayed in place when I fluffed it). Also it worked all day long. I didn’t have to reapply. I appreciate the lack of fragrance. The bad? Ok I opened it. And that’s it. The packaging stinks. I can’t get the lid back on. It is weird. I also had a hard time using it on my hair. I sprinkled some on my hands but I don’t think it got on my hair (I think it fell to the floor). I tried again and failed. So I just tried to sprinkle directly onto my hair. I didn’t know how much to use. It didn’t say on the bottle. I felt like I used a lot. Partially because I kept missing my hair. The instructions weren’t clear. It was frustrating. So overall ? I don’t think I’d purchase this product again. It’s too difficult to apply and half the product falls on the floor so I’m wasting a ton of it and it’s just not worth it. Especially when I can find other products out there that do similar things and are easier to apply. Read more
