I like using blue light glasses when I'm in front of my screens a lot. These help reduce eye fatigue and serve that purpose for me. I like that they are a cool blue color - so unique and I haven't seen anyone else with these! I always get a lot of compliments on them. Maybe not a good choice if you have a super small face. Like the blue light blocking function of these--I'm trying to take better care of my eyes given years of working on computer screens for long hours. I can definitely notice less eye strain during extended work session. Construction is solid--they feel sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy like some other blue light glasses I've tried. The acetate material makes them lightweight, which is important for extended wear, and they stay comfortable on my nose and ears without sliding around. Fact that they come with a hard-shell protective case is a plus. The lenses are clear with just a slight tint that's barely noticeable, so they don't affect color perception when I'm doing design work--lenses are fairly easy to clean (although not as much as some other glasses I've owned). The anti-glare coating on the lenses seems to work well, including under office lighting. In terms of style, they're chunkier than my go-to look, but I'm trying to prioritize function over form at this point in my life. They fit well and the size is good for my face, though they might look oversized on smaller faces. Some of my favorite frames to wear. They are a true retro look but also very trendy right now. The design is simple but gives a statement. The frames are sturdy quality. Not flimsy. Held together well. Joints are good quality. Handles wear and tear very well. They have stood the test of time and I still wear them to this day. The lenses are great for anti-blue light blocking and eyestrain. I have had no issues with migraine triggers. I mostly wear these at night when I stay up late to use my computer and phone consistently for hours. I need the glasses and they do help me immensely. These retro-style blue light blocking glasses are very stylish. The rims are quite thick ad they fit just right on my small head. The lens really help reduce eye strain from looking at my phone and computer monitors all day. The material is solid, and will not easily break. I’m really happy with these blue light blocking glasses. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I can't believe how many nights i spent working late without using these! I always went to sleep after working late and had a hard time going to sleep. I blamed it on my mind racing from the work and the need to wind down after. However, the very first night I used these, I had my head in my bed pillow 20 minutes after using these during a 2 hour work session, and I was out cold! Fit and Finish: This style (A04) has a very substantial, solid feeling, smooth black acetate frame. Style-wise they may be a little too chunky-looking for some tastes, but for others, it may be the bold fashion statement you are looking for. Despite the frames being very deep, I don't think these were designed to be worn over other glasses - the lenses sit in the middle of the frames, not the very front, and there are no special devices for support of the frames over other eye-wear. You can try fitting them over low-profile glasses, but it may not be the most comfortable, especially since the frames themselves are already so heavy. Performance: These definitely block Blue light during the daytime. Looking at the visual color difference when wearing them, and the glare reflected on the lenses, one can tell they are genuine blue-light blocking. The performance claims from the seller vary - so I won't get into specific details, but at the very least these do work indoors for reducing eye strain from screens and electronics. I'm not so sure if they are a substitute for sunglasses, polarized lenses, or full UV eye protection outdoors. The lenses should not affect your eyesight negatively in any way - such as using prescription contacts, and do not cause any visual warping or distortion in any way. I did not notice any internal reflection or glare while wearing them. Things definitely look less "blue" when wearing them - there is a very slight yellow tint - but only noticeable when taking them off or putting them on. It did not affect my overall color perception in any negative way. Other/final thoughts: Very "bold" style of frames. Very sturdy construction, works well for blocking blue light indoors, although not designed for use over other eye-wear. Comes with a cleaning cloth, fabric storage bag, a small key-chain screwdriver kit, and some sort of measuring device I am not sure the purpose of. Read more
