Color lighter than expected

I got the natural shade of this, but I feel like it is for very light/fair skin. Looking at the product when it arrived, I initially thought it might be too dark, but I think that is actually just the color of the sponge that holds the product, as on application this was very light. I feel like it also settles into your wrinkles and pores rather than smoothing them. I might try using this as just a spot concealer or under my eyes, but as a full face bb cream I don’t love it.
