Overall a nice towel, I took one star off because given the size the Christmas tree design is somewhat lost on the towel. You can see in the photo that the towel is quite large. It is great for drying dishes pots and pans because of it's generous size. The material is nice and absorbent, and is just thick enough to provde a good feel/texture. It has a "waffle" pattern/texture to the weave. The towel is a bright white, even after laundering and the design did not fade. A very reasonably priced seasonal item, good value. Read more

It is beautiful and perfect for the kitchen. I wanted it for the guest bathroom but the type of towel is more for the kitchen. I did use in the bathroom for my Mahjong party but will be putting in the kitchen after I wash it. Read more

Colors run when wet hands touch the fabric. Cute design. Read more
I have two mahj towels from this vendor (after all, mahj pairs are rather magical, don't ya know LOL). These are wonderfully adorable! These are a soft waffle-type material which means they can actually be used to dry dishes, etc - they are more than just a pretty face! The colors on this are quite bright and they wash up nicely without fading (I pulled them out at Thanksgiving to ensure they would hit the washer/dryer a few times before I wrote this - so I am confident that these will hold up well!) I could see these being a gift at the holiday mahj group party - hostesses would love these and I can almost guarantee that no one else in the group has discovered them yet!! The price is also reasonable enough that you can splurge and buy two (look for other patterns they have and mix/match). Read more
This is a cute, Christmas towel printed on a waffle weave fabric. It does not state the fabric content anywhere that I could see and there is no label on the towel. It is not cotton but most likely a polyester or microfiber. It does not have the natural drape that a cotton towel would have. I prefer my towels to be cotton so I deducted a star for that. Nevertheless, it will look cute on a towel stand or rack when used as a Christmas towel/decoration in the bathroom or kitchen. My other disappointment in this towel is that it has a surging stitch on all 4 sides. None of the edges of the towel are hemmed. That does not deduct from its functionality but to me it just doesn't seem like a quality towel. Read more
I’m only giving this four stars because I cannot vouch for how well it will hold up in the wash or how absorbent it is for hand drying. I’ve recently started learning mahjong, so I’ve been on the lookout for fun mahjong items. When I saw this towel, I knew it would be the perfect gift for one of my girlfriends who’s absolutely mad for the game. This towel is ideal for adding a little flair to your guest bathroom or kitchen, especially if you’re hosting a holiday mahjong night. The Christmas tree design is playful and festive without being over-the-top. It’s a great conversation starter and a thoughtful gift for any mahjong players in your life. Since this is a gift, I haven’t used or washed it, so I can’t speak to long-term durability. But a few things to note: There’s no fabric content or care tag on the towel, which is a bit of a miss. Based on feel, it’s definitely not 100% cotton. It feels more like a synthetic chamois or microfiber, which means it’s likely to dry quickly and resist odors, but may not have that classic cotton absorbency. The serged edges are clean and well-finished, which gives it a polished look and should help prevent fraying. The screen printing is crisp and vibrant. Again, I can’t say how it’ll hold up in the wash, but it doesn’t look like it’ll flake or peel immediately. If I were washing it, I’d wash it with your whites in cool or warm water, definitely no bleach, and either low tumble dry or air dry to preserve the print. It’s decorative more than utilitarian, so treat it like a showpiece, not a workhorse. Overall, this is a fun, affordable gift for the mahjong lover in your life. It’s not heirloom linen, but it’s charming, seasonal, and sure to get a smile. Read more
