So I waited all school year to give a review on this backpack. My child was in kindergarten so she didn’t need much of the additional space, but was nice to have for when she put her jackets or lunchbox in her bag. This bag is VERY sturdy and is true to the color and design advertised. My child did drag her backpack around so the bottom corners are barely starting to fray, but this bag lasted the entire school year. The only issue I had was the bag folding on the bottom kind of like when you buy gift bags or reusable grocery bags. This is NOT a manufacturer flaw, just a slight annoyance to me. The bag does come flat and the bottom folded so if it does bother you I would suggest stuffing it so it can shape to sit upright for a couple of weeks before school starts. Other than that this bag is amazing. My daughter is wanting a different color backpack so I will definitely order these bags for her in different colors. I also wanted to point out that I ordered a regular size bag for her and not the small. The bag was a little big on her at the beginning of the year, but she kind of grew into it. She is on the petite side and I adjusted the straps to the smallest setting so that could be something to consider when looking at sizes. I hope this review helps. Read more

My daughter just used this backpack today for the first time but I have high hopes. It's really cute, and is the perfect size (I bought the large one) for my petite 7-year-old. I love that it has lots of compartments but doesn't feel bulky. The fabric is really nice and feels durable, which is the whole reason I bought this backpack. Last year we bought a cheap character one at Target and it was falling apart after two months. I then ordered a Pottery Barn one thinking it would hold up better but after only one semester it had a few small holes in the bottom (granted, my daughter drags it on the ground a lot) so I was looking for something really durable. This seems like it might fit the bill with multiple layers of thick material on the bottom. The zippers move smoothly and are easily accessed. My daughter really likes it because it's super cute. I'm happy that I was able to find something attractive given that many of the brands known for their durability offered, well, ugly bags. My only complaint is that even with the backpack completely empty, it's a little heavy. But I guess that is what you get with all that thick fabric! I am so impressed with this backpack that I bought for my kindergartener. The material and construction are high quality. There is a large compartment for school items, a second compartment that fits both her large lunch bag and her snack bag and then two smaller pockets for pencils and other trinkets she likes to bring. My little kindergartner needed a backpack for her first day of school and this is the one she chose. She loves that it's pink and has hearts. I love all the compartments. There's space on the sides for her water bottle. She can keep a sweater in the middle one in case she gets cold. Plenty of room for her lunchbox and some books. There's also a small zippered pocket inside that's great for keeping extra lunch money or little notes. Easy to clean. We're half way through the year and it seems durable as well. Love it! I was amazed at the quality of this bag when it arrived. The material is very thick and the design is very pretty and looks designer. My daughter loved that it had so many pockets and zippers and it's big enough that it will fit her needs as she goes through elementary school. I was very pleased with the purchase. The only downside I've found is that for some reason the bottom strap adjusters don't want to stay put, so it often loosens on its own, resulting in having to tighten it down a lot. I will probably just fix this, as it's a minor annoyance, but all the other positives make up for this minor issue. Read more

My daughter has been using this bag for school for a couple months now. I have to say it is way better than the cheaper ones we have gotten her for the past few years! The zippers are smooth to open and shut, the bag is not easily to get torn, and what I have noticed is that when the bag gets wet it takes quite a while to get her things wet inside the bag. The straps to put over the shoulders are soft enough not to dig into her, and they are very easy to adjust. Read more

I bought this for my 2nd grade daughter and it’s was a great purchase. We’ve been using it 3 months now and it’s held up to being dragged home left in a green belt an entire weekend though rain and high temperatures. Zippers still function no snags. Since we are in pandemic we spray it off everyday with alcohol and the material hasn’t dried or cracked. I don’t like cheap bags I carry a 5.11 backpack everyday so buying this bag I thought maybe a month of a kids abuse but it has lasted three and still looks like a new backpack. Read more
