I bought this for my golf cart for work. The sound quality is great and the volume is perfect. It’s small enough it doesn’t distract my view since it sticks on the windshield. It’s portable and sticks to the window well without having to worry about it. Read more

I originally chose this speaker for my shower, not because I planned to get it wet, but because I wanted something that could handle steam and condensation without breaking. I set it up on the opposite side of the faucet, far from direct water exposure—at least, that was the plan. One day, I turned on the shower to let the water heat up, completely forgetting that the shower head was aimed straight at the speaker. Without meaning to, I gave its waterproofing a thorough test, and I’m relieved to say it survived without an issue. It still works just as well as it did on day one. I haven’t fully submerged it yet, but if I somehow manage to stumble into that test I’ll update with the results. I appreciate that this speaker has two mounting options. I assumed I’d only use the lanyard to hang it on a hook, but the suction cup attachment turned out to be a pleasant surprise. In fact, it's the first suction cup that has ever worked in my bathroom. Before this, I was convinced my shower tiles were immune to suction cups, and I had resigned myself to using only adhesive mounts for shelves and baskets. When I first tested it, I placed the speaker low, expecting it to fall within hours, but it held on for days without budging. Eventually, I moved it up to eye level, and it’s stayed put ever since. Sound quality is solid for a speaker this size. I’m not an audiophile, but it gets plenty loud without distortion. I can hear music and audiobooks clearly over the shower without even maxing out the volume. At full blast, it’s loud enough to be heard across the house. I haven’t used the microSD card slot, but Bluetooth reconnects to my S22 Ultra within seconds of turning the speaker on. The LED light display is a fun extra with various settings, though I usually turn it off. I appreciate that I can disable the lights without affecting speaker functionality. In terms of size and feel, it reminds me of a slightly smaller, portable version of the 3rd-gen Echo Dot. It’s compact enough to take anywhere—shower, car, beach, or just around the house. Battery life seems great. I’ve only used it in short bursts over the past few weeks, but my phone still shows it at 100%. I do wish the speaker had a built-in battery indicator, like my headphones that announce the charge percentage when turned on or off. The biggest downside is the button design. They blend in visually with the side of the speaker, making them hard to see, especially when mounted. The raised symbols help with identifying them by touch. The issue is more inconvenient in the shower, where the lighting is indirect. My bathroom lights are above the mirror, so they shine through the shower curtain rather than directly into the shower itself. I might end up painting over the buttons with a Sharpie or some paint to make them easier to see. Value: The current price of this IPX7 Bluetooth shower speaker is $29.99 USD. After some research, I learned that an IP67 rating offers slightly better protection than IPX7. A similar sized name-brand (JBL Go 3 Eco) speaker with IP67 protection is available at the same price but without the suction cup. I've also found similar generic shower speakers with IP67 can be found for about 30% less (with a suction cup). The price and the button visibility issue are why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. This little speaker definitely punches above its price point. It's no JBL, but it's a big improvement over my phone speakers while I'm doing my thing in the shower and bathroom. It fills the room with sound and the connection to my phone is automatic and quick every time. The controls work well and the battery lasts for a couple weeks without needing to charge. Even if it only ends up lasting for 6 months, I would still give it 5 stars. Read more
