Great for the RV

Purchased this to use in a 5th wheel toyhauler RV. It is a 50amp rig so the Apex 300 is a perfect match. It fits great in the under belly pass through and I plug the camper to it just as if I was hooked to shorepower. Of course not while on the road but I plan to wire an extra connector in the pass through for times that I do need it on the road. It synced up with the app on my phone very smoothly so I'm able to monitor it's status. So far it will power one a/c, a TV, the refrigerator and the converter at once. I'm very pleased with it's performance so far. Read more

Update 3: returning stars because they fixed the issue caused by the firmware update. There are still a number of minor issues however Update 2: dinging another 2 stars because after the most recent update I know have to physically unplug my solar every day to get it to start working. Honestly should if this can't do solar in the slightest I can't say it is worth the price at all. Update: have to ding this one star for the 60V 20A limit on the DC inputs. That combination of maximums makes it impossible to combine 90% of most solar panels and if you go 1v over 60 it shuts down. Honestly shocking how much this thing can do all on its own. I live in a 1 story 3b2ba in Texas and it can handle my whole house load most of the time. Solar is incredibly easy to set up at any level and the app is informative and useful. I would definitely recommend getting the generator 30A cable it really opens up so many options. Read more
