Ordered an XL per size chart for waist size but honestly L would have fit better. The XL is a bit loose up top. There are adjustable straps which are nice but still too loose. Swimsuit has a nice flattering and classic fit overall. The metal gold star fish is a bit too gaudy for my liking but it’s attached on very securely. I was hoping it would be detachable but it’s not. Will need to use tools to cut metal if you really want it off. Would like to see more color options. The skirt is cute. Read more

This is a very attractive swim suit made of quality material. The separate skirt is an added bonus for those of us who want a little more thigh coverage. The sizing is accurate, so you can order accordingly. I would say that the metal star in the middle of the front is a nice added feature unless you're of a more subtle mind, as then it can seem to be a bit more eye-attracting than you might like. I suppose it could be removed with a wire cutter, which wouldn't take much effort, but it's not a pin that could be quickly removed. I got this swimsuit for my 70-something-year-old mother :) and--- She LOVES IT!! This is a very unique swimsuit. It has a detachable skirt so you can wear it two different ways. The fit is very good and very true to size. The skirt is the right length. The front is not too plunging and the two-tone color and decorative star on the front makes it really attractive. The fabric of this swimsuit is 82% Nylon, 18% Spandex. The spandex provides a nice stretch which may be important. Though this suit is not see-through, the fabric is unreasonably thin. Without the flexibility of the Spandex, the wearer might split the darn thing. My wife and I like the tied bottom which provides a more conservative look for a more mature woman, or one who doesn't wish to expose as much skin. The suit had a lot of wrinkles when it arrived. My wife can't test it to see if the wrinkles fade after wearing it a time or two since it's winter right now, but there are some online tricks we may try so the suit isn't stored in a way which makes the wrinkles more permanent. The thread is loose in several places which gave us the sense that the workmanship might be lacking. We hope the suit will last more than one season but candidly, we aren't confident of that. Good quality, well-made. True to size. The color is vibrant, not see-through. The separate sarong is actually a skirt with an elastic waist that looks like a sarong. I love that it comes with this extra piece. It gives flattering support in the chest area. Full coverage in the back area. The straps are adjustable, and cups removable. Wow! This set is beautiful! Nice thickness to the material, the included cookie pads are removable. The straps on each shoulder are adjustable. The Starfish brochure is not removable but not real heavy and nice quality. The color is deep vibrant pop of green blue!
