These cameras are well made and durable. I bought these to put outside of my stepdad's home to deter a bully. I love that there is a red light that comes on at night so it actually looks like a real camera. I think these would be an excellent deterrent for anyone looking to beef up security around their house. They are definitely worth every penny, as far as I am concerned. They take two double AA batteries, which are easy enough to replace. They were easy to install and came with great instructions. Would highly recommend! Read more

These fake cameras are very convincing looking, even up close! Of course you would have to climb a ladder and install them by drilling some holes into your soffits or eaves of the siding of your house to really make them look professionally mounted and convincing. The red LED light that illuminates at night is a great addition to the fake-out character of these inexpensive devices of foolery, but I wonder how long they will last with the installed 2 AA size batteries? I know that LED lights don't tend to consume much power, so I'm assuming the lights will last for quite awhile- maybe several months, but I'm thinking that the power of the batteries will wan when winter temperatures make a comeback in the fall. The only reason I'm harping on that topic is because who wants to get up on a ladder to change the batteries in these dummy cameras? That's not my idea of an important home-ownership task, but its probably a good idea to keep that LED light working properly as an added deterrent to would-be thieves! Read more

Remember the batteries cause it doesn't come with them. The cameras looks great and very realistic. Just the red led isn't that bright during the night time. I matched the camera up with a motion sensing led light. Looks real too me. I only have 4 stars because of the led not bright. Read more

With new Energizer batteries the red night light only two worked with two of the four units I received. The directional movement is limited to up and down because the battery hooded shroud looks odd if installed at a different angle. They do look real and I'll use them so I did not reach out to the seller. Read more
