I have to say, this table is probably one of the coolest things I now own. I'm a DM for DND and was in need of something like this for a while. I was hesitant to buy because of the price at first, but it was honestly worth it. Especially since most of these tables are over $1500 so this feels like an absolute steal. Let's get into it. Pros: - looks fantastic, no damage was noted from shipping - it was packaged VERY well so kudos on that too (also the box design itself was so cute). - every fits well together and assembly was done within 20 minutes - all you need to do is attach the table legs. - this thing is sturdy - a must have for serious DND DMs or board game people - communication! I got emails and notifications from the seller for thing like reminding me that the package comes in 2 boxes Cons: - this guy is HEAVY. The actual tabletop slots alone are decently hefty and it takes a bit of finger strength to lift the panel from the handle when in dining table mode. Definitely a 2+ person project to assemble based on table weight alone - It is a hefty price tag, but not near as bad as most. However I think its worth the money. - I think I could manage to get 5 players and myself at this table, but it would be better for just 5 people max for games like DND. Definitely not a deal breaker, but something to note. All in all, I love it and would buy again. Read more

I had been considering getting a new dining room table for my new to me house. I wanted something nice, preferably oak. I hadn't planned to get a gaming table. I wasn't even looking at them. Algorithm decided to recommend this one to me. I was curious checked it out, saw the price and took a chance. It wasn't much more than some of the tables I was eyeing and cheaper than any game specific tables I had seen before. Table arrived packed in 2 boxes, one for the table itself, the other had the leaf and leg pieces. Very heavy. You may want 2 people to get this brought inside and for setup. Beautiful Walnut color, Malaysian Oak(Rubbertree). Real simple to Assemble. Also very resilient to my clumsiness. Any lesser material would have had several gouges by the time I got done putting it together. This one handled my drops like a champ. Not a single scratch. It really looks so beautiful. Very well crafted. I do have one very minor annoyance. On one side, the end leaf does not sit absolutely flat and had a small wobble to it. Maybe an 1/8th of an inch warp? I thought putting some weight on it for a day or do might help flatten it out but no go. I ended up getting some super thin stick on felt dots and put them on all the leaf pieces. Putting a second layer under the corner that allowed for the wobble. Solve the issue. Also softened the sound when putting the pieces back on the table so even if yours are flush, it probably still worth putting some felt pieces along the ends where the leaf contacts the table. I had been looking for a board gaming table for some time but did not want to spend $1000 plus on one. I ran across this table and after reading the many positive reviews decided try it out. The table comes mostly assembled; you just have to attach the legs. It arrives in two boxes, one containing the tabletop, and the other containing the legs and topper pieces. The boxes are heavy and you should enlist some help in moving the boxes and assembling the table. The description states that you could receive the boxes on different days, but in my case, they both arrived together. Once assembled the table is rock solid, its pieces are solid wood and not just particleboard. It includes a leatherette playmat to place in the bottom of the vault, while not super high quality, it also does not feel cheap. The play area is a little smaller than I would like, but most of the games that I intend to play on this table should fit just fine. There is space around this table for up to 6 players, although I feel it would be better for only 4, 6 may feel a bit cramped. This table comes with 4 topper boards that can be placed to cover up the play surface, so that you could use this also as a dining table, or just to cover up your game so that your cats do not jump up and scatter your game pieces when you are not playing. There is only about 2 1/2 inches of clearance with the topper pieces inserted, so while quite suitable for most board games that do not have large miniatures, most board game boxes would not fit with the topper boards installed. The topper boards fit together well and are neither too loose nor too tight. There is no seal between the topper boards and the play surface, so liquids spilled on the topper boards could easily seep down onto the play surface, so I would recommend using a liquid proof liner if you intend to use this table also for dining. The table includes 4 cup holders that fit into slots on all 4 sides of the table, they can be positioned anywhere along the sides, making them very convenient to place them. The holders themselves are rather small, good for a standard soda can or similar diameter glass, anything larger around will not fit. All in all, at this price point you are unlikely to find a better gaming table. I absolutely recommend this table for anybody looking for a good budget board gaming table. Read more
