For over a decade, my travel toiletries have been stored in a clear zippered bag that probably once held some nice new hand towels or something. When that bag finally bit the dust, my requirements for the replacement were that it must be easy to see into, easy to open. and easy to keep clean and dry. I rejected numerous tri-fold hanging bags because you I felt that getting them open would be too much hassle, and mostly they had opaque exteriors, so you'd be required to open them all the way to find anything you need. This bag seemed like an ingenious alternative. Nothing but mesh all the way down, so I could see what's inside it...and even if it got soaked in the shower, it would dry quickly. Soft sides, so it could be compressed into a small area when needed for that, but expand to hold lots of stuff when needed for that! A completely open top when hung from its built-in hanging hook, so all the items in it would be easily accessible. I took this bag with me on a 5-day trip, and it mostly lived up to my expectations! I still love the all-mesh design and the artful balance of capacity and packability. It's honestly way bigger than I need for all my travel-size toiletries, but the only solid part of this bag is the lid, so I can cram it into just about any space in my suitcase and it just reshapes itself to fit right in! It also seems durable and able to hold up to some rough treatment. Its few downsides are that the hanging hook is attached on the inside of the bag, so sometimes it wants to stick out when you're trying to close the bag and you have to take a little extra time and effort to get it back inside. Also, when it's hanging from the hook, the small zippered compartment in the lid tends to gape open if you don't have it fully zipped. Probably my least favorite thing about the bag is that all the organizer compartments (barring the very small aforementioned one in the lid) are on the outside of the bag and don't have any closure mechanism, so you can't have any items in them while the bag is in transit, because the items will probably all fall out. This means you basically have this giant bag with unusable pockets, and everything inside it just jumbles all together. Because it's very deep and I'm using it to store many tiny travel-size products, it can be a challenge to reach inside and find the exact item that I'm looking for. This may be better suited for a college dorm – where it remains upright all the time and is used to store full-size toiletries – than a travel bag where it gets tossed into a suitcase and tumbled every which way before coming out the other side of a journey with its dozens of contents all in disarray. However, it still served me well over the course of my trip, and I'll continue to use it until some other, better shower bag comes to take its place! Read more
