Bodum glassware is my favorite coffee, tea, any hot beverage vessel. I purchased this set as a gift for a family member who loves making cappuccino. They are extremely light weight, durably strong. They fit nicely in the hand. Outside glass never gets hot and the contents stay hotter longer. The glasses are perfect for espresso, cappuccinos or any drink that has layers. Dishwasher safe! I love these things. Drinking coffee out of one of these glasses is addictive. It stays warm like it's in a stainless tumbler (not quite, but much better than a regular glass) with the sensory feeling of drinking from glass. There are however 2 VERY VERY big caveats to owning these glasses that may be a deal breaker for you. But keep in mind, this applies to ALL double wall glass tumblers. It doesn't apply to plastic or metal ones. 1) They are very delicate. I probably break one every 6 months. 2) They (and all double wall glass cups) need to be hand washed. These glasses look amazing and feel very light to hold. The double-wall design keeps my drinks hot or cold longer without making the outside too hot or cold to touch. No condensation means no coaster needed. Word of caution though, not recommended to stir drinks using steel spoons as it may damage the glasses. Read more

....still very fragile so handle with care.... I had a cheaper knockoff set of these before and they all either broke or leaked.... Not sealed very well. This new version from Bodum has a special valve that constantly equalizes the pressure between the two walls to adjust for temperatuve. And they claim it will never leak. We will see. Does seem like a better design. The silicone plug is dead center at the bottom. Despite being heavier than my last set, the glass is still pretty thin and this stuff cracks pretty easily if tapped the wrong way. (Very brittle) Bodum even recommends against putting ice cubes in them until they are full of liquid, because of the threat of breakage. The also said to avoid metal untensils to stir with. But if handled with care, they do the job. Keeping drinks hot or cold with no condensation. My only gripe is the stickers are hard to get off. And whatever you do, don't drop them. They will shatter into a million pieces. Very hard to clean up. Read more
