masks are gently scented and calming. It's like having handwarmers on your eyes. They do actually form a little bit of 'steam' or moisture around your eye area which is very nice if you have dryness. After about 20-30 minutes, the heat is gone and use of the mask is done. The eye loops are good quality, like string loops vs just cheap paper like other masks I've purchased. For my sensitive nose, the scents are noticeable but not overwhelming. The masks are super easy to use, I usually put them on in the dark and feel for the tear on the top of the pouch, then feel for the bigger notch on the mask for nose. It size of the mask settles well in my orbital socket. I think the only downside is when the air is more dry than usual, the steam effect does nothing, but it's still a little bit warm.
