Just needed a quick set of heavier-duty nippers for making classification screens for newbie rockhounds that i occasionally take with me on trips. These easily cut through the 22 and 26 gauge wire nets. Cons: No auto-open spring design, but not a game losing proposition. Pros: Not very heavy for their size, works great on galvanized wire mesh. Only used them once, can't speak much to how durable they are, but I expect them to last as long as I don't abuse them! Grip isn't terribly bad but should have more texture. They aren't fully flush-cut, so expect about half a millimeter off in the accuracy of your cut. Decent enough tool to not warrant any negative marks. I bet these would probably work well on my jewelry wire, too. Read more

Have been unable to find small flush cutters for circuit board work that I was happy with before these. This set is just what I needed at a really good price. They cut perfectly flush; no bevel on the working side. Read more

I dont use these for anything other than cutting out a pin and ball nose ring when I want to change it and cant pop it out or to cut off long extender chains off adjustable bracelets, but it does the trick. Im not using it constantly or for any thick wires but it works for me and didn't break the bank. It's nice to hold and easy to use. Read more

They're fine, not good or great. Didn't cut through spring needles of some thickness/strengths which is an issue for me, but work fine on smaller/weaker ones. They arrived covered in a mysterious oily substance with little bits of metal in it which definitely seemed hazardous, but after wiping them off it was fine. Read more
