I received one of these for Christmas and bought this one so they could play in stereo. They sound really good! I have two other sets (different brands) including one set that cost much more. The BolaButties sound the best. Best even when cranked up loud. The speakers have more bass sound too. I charged them fully before I first used them, more than a week ago and so far they have not needed to be recharged. I have no idea how long the batteries last but they exceed my needs. Simple to set up and use, great sound! They have become my favorite bluetooth speakers. The one I bought was priced very reasonably and I am very happy with these BolaButty speakers! We bought this for vacation after our expensive one was ruined in our luggage last year. Honestly, I did not have much as far as expectations for this and figured if it lasted one trip, it was worth it. This speaker performed above and beyond what I anticipated. It had good quality sound, battery life lasted all day. The lights to me are not needed, but I guess if you want them, they are built in.
