My wife and I are expecting baby #2, and we had a great internet-wide scavenger hunt to find the perfect "Big Sister" shirt for our three-year-old to wear to let the grandparents, aunts, and uncles know about our coming arrival. It was surprisingly hard to find the right mix of cute-yet-understated that we were looking for, but when we found this shirt it was perfect! Here are some highlights: *DESIGN/SLOGAN: As mentioned above, the design of this shirt is really understated and simple. We came across lots of other "bedazzled" shirts, but the "big sister." design felt classy and well-done to us. The t-shirt doesn't have anything on the back, further simplifying the shirt. We also think that the period at the end is a nice touch. :) We bought the white-on-purple shirt, and its color has held up well after several washings (see below). *FIT/DURABILITY: We bought this shirt for our three-and-a-half year old in mid-December, and she's still wearing it six months later! The shirt fits as perfectly now as it ever has. We do try to keep our daughter's clothes out of the dryer so they can air dry and not shrink, but it's almost certainly made its way in there a few times in the past six months, with no shrinkage to speak of. It's fun to have such a long-lasting shirt, and we think our daughter will wear it when her little brother or sister comes home! *PRICE: The shirt seems to be well-priced given its quality, design, and durability. Worth every penny! Bottom line, we're really pleased with this shirt! This was perfect for surprising the family about baby number two!! Our one year old usually wears 12-18 months, but we sized up to a 2T and it fits perfectly. Only issue I have with it is the neck being tight so it’s hard to get over their heads. I stretched it a little and it worked great. Color was spot on, soft, so cute. Read more

We like these shirts (we have 2 of the big sister ones), but the collars are a little on the small side. For both our 4 and 2 years olds, pulling these shirts over their heads is definitely doable, but a bit of a struggle to pull over. Since none of their other shirts are like that, these shirts aren’t our “wear all the time” shirts. That being said they are nice shirts when you get them on. And they served the purpose of a little photo shoot for a baby announcement just fine. Read more
