This is a well made garment, lined and good fabric, I think it should be dry cleaned, just by looking at it, and treated like dressy clothes. It will look nice over my short sleeved black dress, and give me the arm coverage like a shawl, but unlike a shawl I wont look like I have a death grip on it while wearing it. I considered doing a ruffle around the perimeter, I could actually and add a bit of sparkle with a closure/clasp. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a fairly inexpensive piece of clothing that actually looks as good as the picture. I am 5'7", 112 lbs, and the small fits snugly around the back, as a bolero should, and the sleeves are long enough. It was creased from the shipping, but a steamer worked just fine. The color is accurate, too; a light gold. The lining and seams are all secure. Looks great over a sleeveless brocade cocktail dress. Read more

This little piece is good, and looks good if you take care of it otherwise it will loose its shape, crease and look cheap. I recommend a gentle wash, by hand or machine then immediately hang for a bit then cool iron the heck out of it! I even got a large clean serving spoon out to burnish some of the wrinkles out that I couldn't get cool ironing. If you take care of it and treat it well it will look good. The truth is, as mentioned, it doesn't have nearly as much structure as you think it will. It does have some but not a lot and it need some help to keep its shape. Make sure you keep it hung as much as possible to help it keep its shape. I bought this for an event across the country and it held up okay in my suitcase, but I prep'd the heck out of it to protect it and many of the other outfit pieces I took with me. I'm very small myself 102-105lbs, 5ft tall exactly, with a short torso and a usual sleeve length of abt 23" and this fit like a glove. Read more
