These Bolon sunglasses are a winner. The fit is comfortable, the lenses are clear and sharp, and the style gets noticed without trying too hard. I love the acetate frame and the 53mm size is perfect for everyday wear, not too big, not too small. They feel solid and well made for the price. Great look and great quality. I reach for these way more than my old shades. Read more
The BOLON Men & Women Acetate Trendy Sunglasses BL3223 Buffalo 53mm, Exclusive Eyewear Brand of EssilorLuxottica in the color shiny black/dark grey polarized is a design that I feel is more for women than unisex. Extremely nice designer sunglasses. Ultra lightweight. You barely feel them on your face. They fit my face very snugly. No slippage. I have a really small head and they are snug on me so I can't imagine these fitting a man or someone with a plump face. The style is very on trend with a retro feel. They block the sunlight and UV rays adequately. This is my 5th pair of Bolon shades. They never disappoint. Read more
Thick acetate frames with the subtle buffalo horn pattern look way more expensive than they are, while polarized dark grey lenses cut glare perfectly without distorting colors. Lightweight fit stays comfortable from morning commute to evening drinks. Stepped out and got random compliments before even reaching the car; now they’re the pair I grab without thinking every sunny day. Sunglasses game quietly leveled up. Read more
These are trendy and have sturdy frames. These frames are designed not to become brittle with age. They are insanely comfortable. The hinder system is reinforced and strong. The lenses are shatterproof and extremely scratch resistance. I also , like how easy to lenses clean up. I use a super soft microfiber cloth. For sweaty and dirty I use a half of drop of soap on my fingers with warm water to lightly rub. In addition, these are not overly dark from viewpoint. The lenses are designed to look darker than the actual visual point of view. Plus, they block all the harmful sun rays! Read more

I chose the black pair from the three color options. The style is different from what I usually wear; it’s more modern and a little fashion forward. The silver details on the sides are a nice touch too. I have a small face, and the frame fits me surprisingly well. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and the polarized lenses feel high-quality right away. The view is clear and sharp, and I’m really happy with the overall quality. I usually wear very classic sunglasses, so this pair is a nice way for me to make a small style statement. Read more
The media could not be loaded. The Bolon brand originated as a top-tier Chinese eyewear company. Its ownership structure became significantly international in 2013 when the French eyeglass conglomerate Essilor acquired a 50% stake. In 2017, Essilor merged with Luxottica, positioning Bolon under the EssilorLuxottica umbrella. This France-based holding company controls a vast portfolio of major global eyewear brands (including Oakley and Ray-Ban) and prominent retailers (such as LensCrafters and Pearle Vision). Products under the EssilorLuxottica umbrella are rarely inexpensive. While these Bolon glasses are predictably priced higher than no-name Chinese options, they appear to be less expensive than many of the group’s established, higher-profile brands—a positioning likely influenced by Bolon's heritage and large footprint in the Chinese market. These are well-built, quality sunglasses. I am not especially a fan of the fade in the tinting which goes further toward clear at the bottom than I recognized from the product pictures, but if the aesthetic suits your preference, the construction quality will not disappoint. However, quality in most EssilorLuxotica glasses is not substantially better than that of many cheaper, generic Chinese alternatives. Ultimately, you are paying for the Bolon brand name and its association with the EssilorLuxottica portfolio, rather than for superior build quality. Read more
