...or as I call it, Battery Park.
I love a handful of Bond No. 9 scents but Gold Coast is my favorite. It's so fresh! It's aquatic, fruity (watermelon) and floral (rose). I have to admit that wasn't even aware that one of my fave areas in my hometown of NY was referred to as the Gold Coast. I was born and bred in NY and never heard anyone refer to it as such. Since Bond No. 9 likes to name their perfumes after places in NY, I call this one Battery Park as it reminds me of when I worked in lower Manhattan and would take lunch breaks in the park. The aquatic note reminds me of the Hudson River that Battery Park sits on. The watermelon note reminds me of the ripe, sweet delicious watermelon snacked on by people on their lunch breaks as well as tourists in the park. The rose reminds me of the flowers within the park.
