As good as if not better than Sun Bum.

Strong aerosol spray makes for easy application. Not powdery and gives a shine that does not rub off easily. Nice tropical scent. Good SPF strength. Read more

Smells good, high SPF but pricey!

Chris and ChristinaOctober 20, 2025

The Bondi Sands Sunny Spritz SPF 60 Body Mist is a really nice sunscreen overall. It’s lightweight, easy to apply, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or greasy. I like that it offers high SPF protection and feels refreshing when sprayed on — perfect for quick touch-ups or outdoor days when you don’t want to fuss with thick lotion. It also has a clean scent and includes some hydrating ingredients, which is a nice touch. That said, I wouldn’t call it a favorite. While it works well, it’s easy to miss spots if you’re not careful since it’s a mist, and the bottle doesn’t last long if you reapply often. The cost is also a bit much for how quickly it goes, especially compared to some competing brands. Overall, it’s convenient and does the job, but probably something I’d reserve for travel or occasional use rather than an everyday go-to. Read more

Solid Formula, But I Won’t Be Rebuying

SaraJune 9, 2025

If you’re looking for a solid lightweight chemical sunscreen spray, this one might be right up your alley. It’s on par, if not better, than others I’ve seen in the market, but it’s still not one I would repurchase. In terms of UV filters, this contains Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, and Octocrylene, which together provide good UVA and UVB protection. I don’t love any of these, but I especially dislike homosalate (currently under FDA review). It’s also not coral-reef safe as all four filters are linked to coral reef damage - so they’re banned in places like Hawaii. The thing is, this isn’t an issue with just this brand (though I think I was hoping for better as they are a well-known Aussie brand!), almost ALL the sunscreen sprays I found online had a similar combination of filters. Unless we’re talking less easily-accessible sunscreen sprays, which isn’t as fair a comparison. I like that the mister on this is so fine, but be sure to apply more than you think your body needs, as it’s hard to control how much sunscreen sprays out. It goes on with a fine mist and doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy residue. It dries down quickly, but you can kind of feel it (likely due to the silicones). It doesn’t feel sticky or gross though. It also includes some ingredients that could be irritating, especially for sensitive skin, like Phenoxyethanol and Octocrylene. Make sure you patch test before going all out with this spray! It’s a bonus that it’s 80 minutes water resistant. I think I'll use it up, but I don't find myself eager to repurchase. Read more

Vitamin E and Spray Sunscreen

DocMay 25, 2025

There are lots of sunscreens that have some added ingredients that are good for your skin; however, I usually find I have to pick between the good-for-your skin ingredient and have the convenience of a spray sunscreen. This sunscreen mist has both! It has vitamin E which is something I look for in my skincare product and also has the convenience of a spray application. I still like to rub in the spray after spraying to make sure it is covering evenly, which is something I do with all spray sun screens. This sprays evenly and leaves no white cast after rubbed in. Sometimes spray sunscreens leave my skin feeling sticky and tight and this one doesn’t do that which is good. It seems to keep me from burning. I am happy with this sunscreen mist. Read more
