I like how this frother looks. I love the stand. It mixes well. But, I have one huge problem with this frother: I cannot turn it off at the low speed without cycling through the other two fast speeds first. Because I can only turn off the frother by first cycling through the next two levels of the speed cycle, every time I've used it, the frother has sloshed my drink all over the counter. The other two speeds are way too high for mixing milk in my cup. But as far as I can tell, the frother cannot be turned off without cycling through the other two cycles. The other problem is that every time that I pick up the frother, I inevitably turn it on. The off/on button is right where one grabs the frother from off its stand. I realize that I would probably get used to that in time. However, I cannot get used to not being able to turn off the frother without cycling through the two faster speeds. Even when I pull out the frother while it's still spinning on low speed, I splash my drink on the counter. This is messy and wasteful. UPDATE I was getting ready to pack up this frother and send it back, but thought I'd try it a few more times. I accidentally discovered that if you hold the on/off button for a few seconds, the frother will turn off at any speed. This is great news for me. I now am happy with the purchase. Read more

I have bought two. The first was for mixing drinks. Wonderful little drink mixer. And if you are mixing a milk product, hold the whip close to the surface of the milk and you can double the volume of your milk. The kid in me comes out and plays. I am am a watercolor artist and I do what is called a watercolor pour, pouring watercolor over a image. The paint must be mixed with water and it takes forever to mix. I was tempted more than once to my little whip to mix the paint, but my husband would have abandoned the whip if I did. So I bought the second one for that purpose. The little whip is a wonder tool I would highly recommend it. The down fall is the stand it sets in. The whip is top heavy in the stand and with the whip setting on the counter the slightest bump and it falls over. The manufacturer needs to work on the stand. Widen the base and increase the gage of the wire should solve the problem. Read more

This item works fine. It’s lightweight and easy to hold and use with one hand. I purchased this item to mix my protein powder, and it dissolves all the powder and gets rid of the clumps. I also like the fact that it is easy to clean after each use. Small enough to store on my counter without taking up too much space, and comes with a holder. It’s also relatively inexpensive. I had purchased this item as a stocking stuffer to go with an espresso machine I bought for my son. Then I found that he had one. So the box sat there a few months until it occurred to me that it would be better and easier to clean than my smallest wire whisks. Now I find that I use it several times a day. I wouldn’t recommend it for chunky additives, but I. Blend a small spoon of cinnamon or cocoa into my morning coffee, drink powders for hot and cold beverages, and more. I have even made whipped half and half to use instead of cream, to float on top of coffee or chocolate drinks. I can’t believe that it took me so long to try it out! And, it’s so easy to clean. I just run the agitator and stem in a stream of running water. If asppsomething sticks to the coil, I just run that in a small container of water and then place it back in the stand to dry. I had ordered one previously and my kids got it wet in the sink so it stopped working and I ordered this one - and it happened to come with the stand for the same price.
