This is a nice black skirt for children, it is well made. It has an elastic waistband. The front is easy to identify with a black bow made of ribbon sown to the front. This is an A-line skirt made from seemingly circular cuts of fabric. There is a seam in the back and on both sides. The fabric is unlabeled but seems to be a cotton spandex knit, probably 93/7% it looks sort of like rib knit but it is a very small/fine knit, around heavy t shirt weight. It has Professionally finished inside edges. This is a well-made skirt. The size is true to normal, we got a “12-13 y” size for our 12 year old she is usually a small in women, it is full length on her: its bit large on our usually size 10-12 daughter. This is nice comfortable relaxed-wear skirt. I got it to help the 12 year old get some “basics” into her church clothes and relieve the Sunday morning tension around “not having anything to wear” (To make it easy to find matching tops). This is a great skirt! The first thing that I really like about it is that it is a decent length. It's not over flowing on the floor and not above the knees. On my 11-year old daughter it ended up at her shins. I ordered the 11-12 year old size and it fit my daughter perfect as well. The material is comfortable and has some slight stretch to it; not a lot, but enough to make it comfortable. The waistband also has an elastic which makes it easy to get on and off and comfortable to wear. The stitching looks good quality and it feels like a durable skirt that will last a good long while. The color online is true to what you get, at least for the khaki. There is a cute bow in the front center of the elastic, which adds a cute touch.
