I was surprised at how quickly these arrived. They were well packaged and arrived perfectly intact. I was looking for a LARGE, well made, comfortable to hold glass, and they fit the bill--that they stack is a nice bonus. Lost one star because each of the six glasses had a sticker attached that is very difficult and time consuming to remove. The stickers came off in little pieces leaving a big mess used peanut butter on glue then put in dishwasher came out clean. Made microwave hot tea in glasses added ice to hot tea in glasses no problem. They are tempered glass so they are thin but seem strong like tempered glass should be. Checked with a measuring cup almost 23 ounces filled to brim. Stack very well. Glass is Cristal clear with nice smooth edges found no bubbles or flaws. Easy to hold and drink from and don’t tip easy but bottom is smaller then top. Shipped in double custom box’s with bubble wrap between them, inside box made to fit glasses with cardboard’ separated glasses and each glass bubble wrapped. Haven’t had glasses long enough to see how well they hold up to time or what happens when dropped but when it happens I will update how tough they are. Price is good if they are quality tempted glass if not way over priced time will tell. Read more

These glasses are precisely as described. No issues at all with the labels. Came right off. Made in Spain. (Not sure at all why it would matter whether they were made in Spain or Italy.) Excellent sturdy quality! We bought two smaller sizes of these glasses for my mom about five years ago and they have performed incredibly well. So, I went for the 21+ ounce version for my house because I like at least a 20 oz glass. I love the fact that, unlike most glassware, these glasses stack. Happy to get more in my cabinets! Read more

I hope this review puts your mind at rest regarding some of the issues mentioned in other reviews. As of mid-December, 2024, this was my experience. I received six 21.75 ounce glasses as ordered in excellent condition. The thin cardboard product box lid flap was open (the locking tab was torn off), but none of the glasses were harmed, and they clearly hadn't been used. Mind you, I live very near to an Amazon warehouse -- if they have a rough time in transit, all bets are off, since there wasn't any packing material around them exept for some dog biscuits, which made up the other part of my order. The stickers on the glasses were plastic and easy to peel off, leaving no residue. A 21.75 ounce glass holds, you guessed it, 21.75 ounces when filled to the rim. Of course, you wouldn't normally fill it that full, so count on it holding 18 to 19 ounces comfortably. The glass itself weighs almost exactly one pound, but the ergonomics are such that it is comfortable to hold and doesn't feel unduly heavy, at least not to me. It's big, so you expect it to be heavy and the body adjusts. (I've found some 12-ounce Libbey Duratuff Gibraltar glasses to be subjectively too heavy because they are much smaller, and you aren't expecting the weight of the thick glass.) You don't have to grip the glass tightly because the wider top keeps it from slipping out of your hand. Yes, the glasses were made in Spain. I didn't find any bubbles, wrinkles or unevennesses in the glass. They are attractive and delightful for smoothies. They'd probably be grand for iced tea, too, but since it's December, I haven't checked that out. They stack nicely, but you need a shelf with enough height to accommodate them. One glass is 6.5 inches tall, and a stack of two glasses is 9 inches tall. They are about 3.75 inches in diameter at the rim and 2.5 inches at the 9-sided base. Hope this helps! Read more
