Comfortable and stylish suede booties
I never go wrong with Born shoes. True to size and always the perfect fit with great arch support for those with high arches. I wasn’t sure about the color because it’s kind of a rusty brown red but it’s growing in me. Definitely stands out from my other brown boots. Born's are not the "unparalleled craftsmanship" that they used to be.
I USED to love Borns! They have always been made well, comfortable and last a long time. Unfortunately, this purchase makes me rethink this. I have not worn these yet due to weather in my area. Today when I put them on and walked around the left foot felt off. Almost as if it was missing part of the insole... and sure enough. The left has an insole that is smaller than the boot itself. And it may not look like much but not having that insole fit the boot also makes the boot snugness very, horribly different. The comfort level would be there... if they matched. I am upset I didn't notice this before... it's very unfortunate. Because now in further review of the boot- the right is missing portions of the stitching, the leather cut wrong & is hanging over the sole at the toes. This is a huge overall disappointment. And now I am just stuck with them because it's after return dates- which I own as my fault. But as we know sometimes you don't notice a shoe is for you until you wear it longer than 5 minutes of trying it on. Definitely NOT worth the money spent. Read more
