When the Bose SoundLink Flex was introduced in 2021, I was not particularly in the market for a bluetooth speaker. My little Sony speakers met most of my needs and still do situationally. Several months ago, however, I was again looking for an additional bluetooth speaker. My research started with the Bose SoundLink Micro, which I love but is again a situational speaker. After my research ruled out many other brands, and after asking no fewer than several dozen questions of a Bose representative via Facebook Messenger, I ordered a plate-full of crow along with a SoundLink Flex which was on sale. As a matter of full disclosure, I enjoy various genres of music. My natural hearing diminished and has thankfully been restored through bilateral cochlear implants. The cochlear sound differs from natural hearing, though both are similar. With that said, a speaker which produces premium audio quality is crucial. Other necessities are affordability, portability, durability, ruggedness and especially reasonable battery life. The Flex meets all of my needs and is my go-to speaker. The Soundlink Micro, Revolve Plus and Mini II SE speakers are likewise fabulous, but there is only one Flex. My only negative experience with the Flex was purchasing a couple from the Bose Refurbished Store. Fortunately, Bose has fixed the issues with these but henceforth, I will pay a few more bucks and purchase Bose speakers brand new. At present, I own four of these Flex speakers, one of each color variant. I rotate between these and may even consider purchasing a couple more when a bargain can be had. The Flex is lightweight, compact and delivers as advertised. Yes, I still use my other speakers situationally, but again, the Flex is my speaker of choice. Pairing to an iPhone and then the Bose connect app is easy, as is pairing 2 together for stereo. Most reviews speak glowingly of the Flex and for good reason. Plus if there is ever an issue, Bose will absolutely assist with servicing or replacing if need be. So if my review has helped any of you who may be wavering on the Flex, then it was worth every single typing tap. In this price range, the Flex is hands down the very best speaker available. Love these small, portable Bose speakers. We’ve now bought 5 of them total for us and as gifts. Terrific, clear sound for size and price. Holds a charge for a very long time. Great for our pool area, to take to tailgates, outside working in the yard etc. East to pair to iPhone. Definitely recommend. Read more

First off its Bose so you can't go wrong with the quality of design and sound. To use them you must download the bose app, but after that the connectivity is awesome. Not a real heavy speaker but provides amazing sound in an office or even paired up at a campsite for music for all. Super easy to take with anywhere with the nylon strap that is installed on the speaker so you can hang it up or on a tree or whatever. The fully charged unit using at moderate volume will last a good 20 hours or at least mine did on last camping trip. The sound quality is incredible! Good solid bass and all the middle and highs you would want to for any type of music. These do not disappoint at all.they are made in bose fashion and seem to be pretty durable through the use i have put them through. One has a little dent on the steel grill protecting the speaker but it held up great and had no effect on sound quality. A great speaker for many uses. Read more

They Pair Easily, But Depending On What You're Playing, They Do Roll From Side To Side Audio Wise... So It's Not A Flawless Dual Speaker Connection... They Sound Great For Their Size, For Their Cost I Had A Friends Single Speaker HK Onyx Studio (1) Speaker Kill Two Of These On A Side By Side Comparison In A Big Living Room... But The HK Is Ugly And My Bose Flex With It's Silicone Case Is Cool Looking, Small, Plus I Have 2 "Lmao"... So It Is What It Is For It's Size. (NOTE: MY Bose Sound Dock (Single Speaker) Also Killed These BABIES) The Bose Sound Dock Like HK Onyx Studio Is Just Bigger And Delivers A Smoother Deeper Base And Sound... Size Does Make A Difference When The Base Is The Focus... Read more

Got this as an Xmas gift for my best friend who i don’t get to see often due to college. Figured i’d give him something that was practical and that would hopefully remind him of some time we spent together. Found this and it was around my price range and between this and jbl this won out for quality and bass. Looked way cleaner to me too and it came in a really nice shade of red or maroon whatever it was lol. Sounds amazing and made the experience of sitting outside way better. He uses his little speakers everywhere he goes so this was the perfect gift for him since he likes to be loud Read more
