Superb! The words come through so clear. It is more relaxing watching movies with the Bose Sound Bar. The background noise doesn't seem to interfere as much. Even music sounds better. Very compatible for people like my husband and I who have to wear hearing aids. We are in our 90's and it was easy for us to set up the Bose Sound Bar and reasonable priced and fast delivery. We are very satisfied and would recommend it to others. BL Read more

Purchased this product as a gift for someone but I made sure to test it before giving it to them since there were some key features I needed. Firstly, this soundbar is not as long as other soundbars on the market which is exactly what I was looking for. I needed it to fit under a PC monitor - and it fits perfectly. Secondly, I needed it to have a 3.5mm jack. In theory, you can use optical, but I wanted to have the option to use the 3.5mm jack since its the easiest way to get speakers to work on your computer. I looked at TONS of sound bars, and it seems like the 3.5mm jacks have gone extinct or something. But not on this sound bar. This one had a 3.5mm jack which was perfect and it made connecting to my PC super easy. Next, I needed it to be loud. At first when I plugged it in, it was quiet, even with my computer volume on 100%. But when I turned up the sound on the actual sound bar using the remote - it was plenty loud. This soundbar does NOT have physical buttons to alter the volume, so you need the remote (included). I don't think that's a bad thing though. Next, I did not want it to have any voice control or built in Alexa or whatever else. It was never going to get used and I didn't want to pay the extra money for that feature. Pros: - Quality of sound - Loudness - Looks great - Short enough to fit on a desk for PC set up - No voice control/Alexa - Reasonably priced - Variety of connection (HDMI Arc, Optical, Aux In, Additional Bass) - Bluetooth connectivity (don't need it, but good to have) Cons: - Doesn't have voice control (not a con for me, but could be for someone else) Conclusion: This was the only soundbar I managed to find that fit everything I needed. If you resonate with my reasoning for why I chose a soundbar like this, I would say its a no-brainer. Read more

Easy to connect and install...well, my son-in-law had no issues. Great speaker quality immediately. This was definitely an upgrade from the brand we had before. It also has a smaller footprint making it more aesthetically pleasing. so far I'm pleased. It was a Christmas gift for my husband, so we haven't really used it much. It's only been used to hear the sound of a fireplace on YouTube. I believe it's money well spent and since it was on sale, a good value for the money. Read more

This soundbar had very good audio for the price, however I ended up returning for two reasons: it didn't have wired ethernet connectivity, and it didn't have an LCD display so you couldn't tell what was going on (what volume it was set to, etc.). Pros: – Has a dedicated Dialogue Mode for making voices stand out from background noise and music. – Its small footprint fits easily under most TVs without being obtrusive. – Very easy to connect and get running, typically just one cable. – Has a balanced, rich sound for its size, typical of Bose audio. – Convenient for streaming music from your phone. Cons: – While it has a bass boost, it won't deliver room-shaking bass without the optional subwoofer. – Designed for enhanced stereo, not immersive surround sound effects. – Lacks advanced features like Wi-Fi, ethernet, or multiple HDMI inputs found on other soundbars. – No Display - status lights are present, but a full text display would be helpful for modes/volume. Overall it was a decent sound bar, but for the price I ended getting a JBL 300 sound bar because it sounded just as good, and had all the features that I wanted (in particular the ethernet port and the LCD display that the Bose lacked). Got tired of having to constantly turn up the volume on my samsung 65" to hear dialogue, only to get blasted at action sequence or commercials. This solves the problem. Super clear, crisp dialogue and the built in subs give you the punch at low frequencies when it's called for. Have not had to make too many adjustments. Super easy install. Read more
