Purchased this after my old Ninja air fryer stopped working. After having a few weeks, here are my conclusions: Pros: - I like the glass bowl since we're not getting exposed to toxic heated plastic. - It is quiet compared to my other air fryer. - Takes up a little less counter space with its size - I'm still learning the cook times and temps, but food comes out well cooked and crunchy Cons: - The glass bowl is a little heavy so you have to be careful when taking it out and cleaning it. - The control screen is on the top of the unit so it may be harder for some shorter people or kids to read and use. - The unit does blow the hot air directly out the back, so you may need some type of shield for the wall behind it. - As others have noted, its less powerful than other units so cook times are a bit longer. In general, this unit is exactly what I was looking for: a good value glass bowl air fryer that's easy to clean. If I can get a few years of good use out of it, I'll be super satisfied. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been waiting 5 years for an air fryer like this. The glass is super easy to clean and the white design looks clean in every kitchen. It’s quieter than any of the other 3 air fryers I’ve owned, which I had to replace every few years because the metal baskets would chip into our food!! I’ve had this one for a few weeks now, no issues at all. I love seeing the sizzle from all angles and the soft orange glow when it’s on is a nice addition. The pics show the different glow intensities. We can see it from the living room so we always know when it’s still running if we have the TV load. I will say with the glass it is heavier than expected but it gives me more confidence that it won’t break while cleaning it or pulling it out. The temp/time settings can’t be modified once it starts so you have to stop/turn it off before you modify it. Still a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ air fryer and will update this review if my experience changes. I’ve never reviewed or never felt the need to review an appliance before but this one deserves it. This might seriously be the last air fryer you ever need. Read more
Great air fryer with glass basket – no plastics touching food Really impressed with the BOSWELL Glass Air Fryer (7.5QT). One of the main reasons we chose it is that there are no heated plastics or coatings touching the food—the glass basket is a huge plus and gives peace of mind. It heats up very quickly, cooks evenly, and honestly just looks cool sitting on the counter. Everything we’ve made so far has turned out great. My wife’s only complaint is that the glass basket is on the heavier side and can bother her wrist when lifting it out. That said, BOSWELL includes a silicone hot pad, which she puts on the counter so she can slide the basket out and rest it immediately—works perfectly and also protects our granite. So far we love this air fryer. We wanted something with lower toxins & after un-boxing it barely needed off-gassing. My hubby just threw in a few pieces of bread, ran 2 different cooking cycles and tossed the bread in the trash & it was good to go! Super easy to use. I thought the product worked well enough.. cooked 3 chicken drumsticks two boneless thighs and one small chicken breast.. ample room in basket easy clean up by using a liner.. thought the power is less than my previous air fryer takes longer to cook .. but ihave today I'm very satisfied.. no cancerous teflon.. very pleased just needs more wattage to cook faster . The media could not be loaded. Omg! Why did I wait so long to get an air fryer, particularly this one?! I have never owned an air fryer nor air fried anything in my life. I've only had it for one day and decided to make something simple. Just chicken tenders & baby red potatoes. Both were cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders were crispy & juicy and the potatoes were just right. This air fryer reached the desired temperature & it cooked my food fast. It isn't loud either. The basket is huge & deep. You can fit a lot of food in it and cleaning is a breeze. I was a bit scared the mesh tray would be difficult to clean, but nope. Once cooled off, soak the tray in the basket with dawn soap then just rinse. I only soaked mines for less than 5 mins and it rinsed clean. I've been researching air fryers for awhile now & wanted a glass one for easy cleaning and visual purposes. If you're thinking about it, just get it. I absolutely love mines. We loved this air fryer !! It was everything we wanted, pleasing to the eye, super easy to clean & use due to the pre set temperatures , cooked quick and efficiently , … everything was great.. UNTILLLLLL this morning it died on us . Purchased in July and stopped working in November . An air fryer should last more than 4 months . idk what happen because we took care of it very well . Very disappointing. For the price and quality it shouldn’t have stopped working so soon . All my other air fryer’s lasted more than 2 years , but this one was different because it was glass which is exactly what we wanted . Honestly very disappointing. Read more
