Very cool little attachment and at a great price. Saved me having to use multiple wires all over the place. Now I can use my phone in bed since my USBC wire is very long. Plus my phone can now charge at a much higher speed than my old cable was aboe to. Doesn't get hot which is also a plus. Read more

My wife and I have different generations of iPhones; one uses a Lightning connector for charging, while the newer one has a USB-C port. To reduce the number of cables we need to bring when traveling, I bought these BOUTOP USB-C to Lightning adapters. They work very well for charging older iPhones, and the charging speed appears comparable to that of a dedicated Lightning cable. The adapter fits securely onto both the USB-C plug and the iPhone’s charging port. I also like the small loop that keeps it attached to the cable when not in use. It helps prevent losing this tiny adapter. Disclaimer: I am a regular paying customer and did not receive any incentives from the seller or manufacturer. Read more

Great little adapters. I keep them on my car charger cables because half of our family’s phones are USB c and the other half are lightning. They work for charging and data. Read more

I have an iPhone 8 and a 2019-era iPad, both of which require Lightning input, but I have mostly transitioned to USB-C cables and USB-C wall chargers. So these adapters are pretty good. The major downside is that these are thicker at the shank than many Lightning cables, so when I plugged USB-C cord into this adapter into the iPhone 8 (no case), the iPhone 8 didn't actually lie flat on a table, it was resting on this little USB-C-to-Lightning adapter, as the adapter is wider than the phone itself. I was worried this would gradually apply torque to the Lightning socket on the phone, so I removed it from the iPhone 8 and I am using that cable-adapter combo for the iPad, and the iPad is thicker so there is no problem. I worry these may be too thick to plug through certain cases, but my iPad is in a Logitech case and the hole is wide enough. The thickness may be unavoidable because USB-C is thicker than Lightning, and I don't actually own any cases where these don't fit. Based on charging speed, I think these deliver around 15 watts of power, which is about what the iPhone 8 and iPad will accept. So they might actually deliver more power if you had a hungrier device. The loop and tether are fine, but notice that if you unplug the adapter, the whole adapter will slide to the middle of the cable. You won't lose it, but nothing is keeping it near the plug. Read more
