Cotton is the healthiest fiber we can put on our bodies. It grows from the earth and can be processed without gross chemicals. I know this can make cotton more expensive for manufacturers, but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to find basic things in cotton. I’ll at least make sure that our “delicate parts” are getting the benefits of cotton. If you have a kid that sweats a lot, is in a lot of sports, gets acne easily, rashes or eczema, it can be because of the fabric that kids/teens/athletes gravitate to. They absorb sweat and oils better than the slick fabrics that hold your oils against your skin until it gets angry. My oily-skin-almost-13-year-old son is a baseball catcher who wears a lot of layers to make wearing a jock strap and cup more comfortable, which caused more sweat, and more breakouts. We did an overhaul about a year ago and went back to cotton underwear, cotton bed sheets/pillowcases and undershirts and the difference is huge. I’m glad I found these at such a good price. They are similar size to other brands of boxer briefs. If anything, they may have a slightly longer leg, which my son likes for under sliding shorts etc. They didn’t shrink in the wash/dryer and don’t stretch out after wearing them all day. These boxer briefs are a solid choice. The fabric is very soft, comfortable, and breathable. The quantity is also a perk because if you're buying anything for boys, you know more is better. Initially, this product didn't have the size guide so I based my purchase off other brands. The size guide is available now and check it, folks! I bought a small thinking it would be 6-7 but it is actually 8-9. The photos show a comparison with size 6 boxer briefs that have been through numerous laundry cycles. One pair is straight from the package. Second is after a laundry cycle. There is a difference in length after drying, but the material still has plenty of stretch so I don't think it was a major reduction. These appear to be well made boxer briefs, but I accidentally ordered the wrong size. I didn’t realize at the time of purchase that these were boys’ sizes rather than adult sizing, so they didn’t work for my intended use. That was completely my mistake.
