My son needed a white button down for a wedding. He is sensitive to material and only wears dri fit shirts on a normal day. This shirt met his needs perfectly. It is soft and silky, had a good stretch to it. Was not tight around the wrists or neck. Being white, I did have him wear an undershirt, but it is probably thick enough it didn't need it. I got this for my son’s band concerts. He thinks it’s very comfortable, and it has a nice amount of stretch to it. I like the fact that the buttons on this are black, not clear or white. There is a slight sheen to the fabric. I’m concerned it may be hot for him to wear while he’s playing, but time will tell. When I washed it, the wrinkles from packaging did not budge. I had to steam it but the creases came out fairly easily. I chose size 13-14 for my 11 year old. He is 4’11” and 99lbs, but all lower body muscle. The sleeves are too long, so I think the 11-12 will fit perfectly. I am still keeping this shirt though as kids tend to grow! Read more

The material in is slightly sheen which looks great and has a stretch to it. I ordered smaller for my son because of his body measurements, which the post recommended do. The shirt came vacuum packed in a small clear sealed bag. It was so imprented by the buttons and creases on the shirt by the vacuum bagging that I ironed the shirt for over half an hour to get the creases all out! (they finally did iron out though) The shirt is also thin, so my son will need an undershirt in order to wear it decently. The fit is good for him, except where it tucks in is in between buttons so we will have to pin it to prevent puckering. This may may be because he is of a short stature. *Very thin, nice texture & feel, but shocked at the creases/imprints. Read more
