I'm 21 days post-op for a bilateral breast reduction. Since I don't know what size I am yet, I went with what I thought was the right size (medium). It fits perfectly on the last row of hooks, making the bra very snug so that it's not moving around on my padded sutures. I also feel better with a snug fit. It helps to keep periodic swelling down. I will repurchase this bra and I highly recommend it for this who've had breast surgery. It's soft but structured. It has high sides and back so it's not cutting into your skin, especially if you have side sutures. The quality is great, it's durable and the straps are adjustable making it highly functional. Ordered post breast reduction after another option was a failure. This one is as close to perfect as you can get for a compression bra post op. Fabric is comfortable and washes well. There is enough room in the armpit which is good; my other option had zero room and was problematic with the incision I had from where they removed accessory breast tissue & a lymph node. It’s easy to adjust if you want to keep part of your body on separate hooks. I have the lowest part on the loosest or second lossest & then keep more compression with the 3 or 4th hook from about 1/3-1/2 way up. The underbust band is comfortable and wide. There’s also an about 1in area where the tab extends below the band where it clips in the hook & eye. This is extremely nice bc it prevents any type of rubbing on an incision in your sternum region & also seems to keep the bra more in place. The shoulder straps adjust easily with Velcro but stay put & aren’t bulky. Definitely line dry it does shrink if you put it in the dryer even for a few minutes. This bra is constructed from very soft but supportive material. The construction is solid, offering 4 rows of eyelets that hook in the front to give lots of room for desired support level. The front hooks make it very post-surgery friendly too. I am not sure of my current bra size but I went into the breast reduction (and lift-no implantd) surgery a week ago wearing a 34/36 D cup. My underboob circumference was 33". I ordered the Medium and it fits perfectly on 2nd from last set of hooks. I have 2 more to go as I heal and the swelling and soreness decreases. Perfect for use after surgery. Very good support while thick for comfort. Straps are Velcro and feel secure. Ranges in great size options. I got a medium and wore it on the longest eye hooks, but moved closer as swelling went down. Read more

The website description is inaccurate. It clearly states this bra is "84% cotton and 16% spandex. The sewn in tag on the bra I recieved says "84% RAYON AND 16% SPANDEX". Also, if you've incisions under your breasts as I do, the bra is not long enough and the underband not nearly wide enough so as not to disturb your healing, tender under breast incisions. The straps are also bizarrely constructed so as not to put any effort on your shoulders whatsoever, they barely graze your shoulders, so you receive no support from your shoulders no matter how tight/loose you need your particular straps adjusted for size. So essentially, no matter how I adjusted it was as if the straps are just for show and this is nothing but half a corset. Quite honestly even if these weren't all factors, I'm not interested in a product that states it's cotton all over the place on its description, and arrives with a tag blatantly stating otherwise.
