First of all, these are a true white, not an ivory or off-white. This is what I wanted, so I'm happy about it. The quilting goes very well with the white quilted area of the king size bed quilt that my stepmother made for me and looks great with it. The quilt is mostly white, with a wide strip of grey, red and black-and-white print fabric down the middle. I could have ordered grey or red, but I did not want to punch up the red since there is nothing else red in the room. I have a white headboard and the white in the quilt, the shams and the headboard really looks nice. Too lazy to take a photo - sorry! BTW I washed these first thing and they came out great, no ironing, no issues. Very happy. Read more

These are soft and so pretty. They're not white, but a "natural" or cream color and go perfectly with my dark blue quilted bedspread. One of the ties on the back did come off when I was tying them closed, it looks like the stitches attaching it to the back panel were loose. Easy fix for me and not a deal-breaker. I machine-washed them in cold water and in the dryer on low. Did just fine. Bonus: I've never been one to make my bed very often, but since getting these a week & 1/2 ago I've happily made my bed every day just to be able to enjoy them as I walk through the room. Read more
