Great for dog recall training
It’s pretty damn loud, I got this whistle because my dog wasn’t responding to a different dog whistle, so I’ve been using this one to train her for recall and it’s been working great, nice size and looks well made. Plus you get two at a good price. Read more
Met my needs
When something is this inexpensive, I think that has to be taken into account. These whistles can be loud, but not piercingly so. If I wanted a whistle primarily for safety, this wouldn’t be my choice. But, for my purposes (signaling my dog to return from the neighbor’s yard when he gets into a barking competition) it’s just fine. I like the included lanyards. The whistle can be easily attached via the spring ring closure. The lanyard seems to be made from a thick ribbon. Basic, but perfectly adequate. I would not wear it for use as a safety whistle because the lanyard is not breakaway. For the price, this product is as good as one could reasonably expect. Read more
Metal composition and great volume.
The whistle is made of metal and will last forever. Due to the size and shape, it will require more effort to produce a sound versus a standard whistle. The lanyard that comes with it is very thin, which causes the edges to be very sharp. The whistle pitch and volume is great. Read more
