Spend the money and get the official replacement head. Do not get the cheap knock offs. This is the real deal. It shaves close, clean and quickly. Like it’s supposed to. Just like the shaver is brand new. I purchased a knock-off replacement head for my Braun 5S six months ago for around $16.00. However, on my first shave, I noticed that it didn’t shave as close or clean as the original head. Over time, I realized that I had to shave longer and longer to achieve a close shave. I wondered if the official replacement head would be a better option. At about the six-month mark, I was tired of the long shaves and missed whiskers, and I also noticed that my battery wasn’t lasting as long. So, I decided to try the real deal. These last a long time. They are pricey, but worth it for the durability. After four years of ownership, I’ve only had to replace mine once, and that was because I accidentally crushed it, not because it wore out. This is an OEM Braun 54B replacement shaver head. Fits my S5 Model 5118S Type 5762 shaver. High Braun quality but overpriced IMHO so I took away one star. I coughed up the asking price because I knew an aftermarket head would be a disappointment. Spring for the price, get a good shave and move on. I recommend this part. Read more
