This bread box is beautiful and does not take up much space which is great because I don’t have much counter space. It tucks very nicely under cabinets in the corner by my refrigerator. It came unassembled but was very easy to put together. It has two shelves and each easily fits a loaf of sandwich bread. The shelves are adjustable so you could use on shelf for snacks or whatever you want. I am so happy with this purchase, wish I would have found it years ago. Read more

Putting track on: it helped to leave screws a bit loose at first, put in track as much as possible then tighten, then tip it backwards for the rest to fall into the track. You’ll hear it. Test it a little, Then tighten screws. I like it vey much, decorated it and it’s cute, and larger than I thought it’d be. I’m using it for easy access to my vitamins and meds. Read more

Keep in mind I put this together myself with no help and I am generally not good with this kind of stuff. Easy to put together until you get to the roll piece that moves to open and close the box. Hard to get into the grooves on both sides and get the last board attached. Once it fit all together it slides very easily and looks great. No smell, good size and great value for the price I paid. has good weight to it, but not too heavy. Wood is a nice quality too. The only reason I took off a star was for the frustration of getting the rolling/moving piece lined up and into the groove so it would roll up and down. Read more

Not at all happy with this product. I actually regret purchasing this. First, there are no holes to put the shelf in the middle like it shows in the photos. It either gets placed on the top or the bottom making a narrow space to place anything. Second, the shelf brackets were way too big to fit into the holes that were predrilled. I don’t mean they were tight, I mean they were way too big to fix in the holes at all! We had 2 choices. Either drill a bigger hole, or go to the store to purchase the correct size brackets. We should not have had to do that. At least the door close properly, and none of the wood came broken. I still would not have purchased this product if I had known it came this way. To expensive to have to purchase the proper size brackets or drill bigger holes. Read more

Lovely storage solution! Our bread, buns, bagels etc. are easily retrieved and safe from being smashed. Like others, the door didn’t slide smoothly. We used an old trick - rub bar soap in the grooves. Glides easily now. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Pay for what you get. I didnt expect too muck, heres mt take. Easy to assemble, looks ok - the roll top door doesn't sit great but with modification and careful use we hope to get some use out of it. Silver screws with the black color option not so great. Two hand operation to open the door, not so "handy". Read more

I was skeptical due to some of these reviews, but it is more than worth what it is for the price. Yes you have to put it together, but it’s really not a big thing. I’m happier with the quality of this bread box than I was with the ones provided in my local stores. I believe it also ended up being cheaper than my local store options! I’m happy with my purchase. Begin the project by placing all the parts in as high and even surface as possible. The visual instructions point at what to look at in order to select the right connecting parts, i.e., one screw hole and groove at the bottom was the first clue to follow to realize what the adjoining parts were (A. Left wall and B. Bottom board). Then, C. The shorter board (obvious, no guessing). D. Sliding the bottom was easy and it stayed in place. Now, it was time to insert the first two small plugs in the middle position as indicated or higher or lower depending on your needs. I used pliers to hold the plug in position and a hard-rubber ended hammer to force the plug inside. After placing E in the position shown, gently slide the door's tambour-slats making sure they all fit into the groove (do not press hard... you'll see why... Once done with E, to start with F (the right side), place the side board as shown and try to insert all slats into the grooves. Now it seems more difficult and it is but you have to adjust top, center and bottom until you see all the slots inside. Begin inserting the four screws until the cabinet appears solid. Turn it around carefully. At that point, I noticed the door was stuck and a few slats were out of place. I wiggled the cabinet to slide the out of place slots into the right grooves. When they were all in place, and I could begin opening the door, I tightened all four screws to the right and the four to the left. And the door moved up and down without one single slat out of place. Now turn it into position to add the other two plugs that will hold the shelf. Finally, place the four black protectors on the four "legs." The only thing left is to cover the screws with black tape (cut round pieces) easy to remove if there was a need to make slat adjustments at a later date. One thing I can say about this unit is that all screws matched the holes and the instructions would take us in the right direction. The issues I saw in the reviews happened to me but I realized it was a matter of adjustment... and it worked! Now I will see what if anything should I rub into the grooves to make the door slide easier thus avoiding future adjustments. Beeswax maybe? Read more
