The fabric and style of these panta re real nice. I would expect a beach, palazzo pant, to be loose, comfortable, long and flowing. I'm 5'7' and generally wear a 10-12. I ordered the large size, which according to the chart is a 12-14. They were an ok fit, on the tight side, and landed above the ankle length. Breezy Lane is a great name for these linen pants. They are so comfortable in the summer heat, they feel light and breezy. I am short, 5’2”, and thought I needed to shorten them about 4” but after I (purposely) put them through a hot water cycle they only needed a turned hem – about 1”. I was not surprised that they shrank – I am just noting it for others that might want to stick to a cold water wash to maintain the length. The fabric is substantial, better than my other pair of linen pants. I got a question from another buyer, asking if they stretch out, and the answer is – no. These are OK. I ordered a size larger because I was worried about shrinkage. I don't like the way they fit me and that's not the fault of the pants. They fit exactly like they say and that's not my preference. I use them as lounge pants but will not wear them out in public. They are a thicker material so summer might be a stretch for me. I am tall with a 36" inseam so it's VERY hard for me to find pants. These are definitely not long enough. They are high waist so I can pull down a bit but that puts the area where the pant legs meet at top (didn't want to use the word) down lower. I didn't think about this when ordering a size larger. OMG I am blissfully happy with these casual, comfy linen-blend trousers. I'm only 5' so I typically never order pants that aren't specifically made in petite or short, but after checking out the sizing chart I thought these might possibly work. They do! I rarely take pics of myself when I review clothing but these were too great not to share in visual as well as verbal form. I am 109 lbs and the Small fits so well. They're loose but not too baggy. They have a nice drape even when paired with flip flops. The drawstring is indeed long, as other reviewers mentioned, but it isn't bulky and it does lay rather flat when tied. These are labeled high waist but given the pull-on style, you can actually adjust the rise of these pants. I prefer the look when they are situated just below my navel (mid to lower-rise style). I am seriously considering ordering these in the Apricot color as well. They are a great option to pair with fitted tanks and sandals in this blistering Florida weather! Read more
