I wanted to wait some time before writing a review on this item so that it can speak volumes of its performance. I bought this as a gift for my partner in January and I am able to use as well... This eye massager is truly helpful for stressful times such as now with COVID-19 and having to work from home + kids. It is a perfect tool for headaches related to tired eyes, stress, just a cold or even for when you just need some relaxation. I love the heat setting, it helps me go to sleep if I have trouble doing so and it shuts off on its own! I was unsure about this because of the price, but I saw it on a list of things that can help with anxiety, insomnia, and sinuses and having issues with all those things I thought it was worth a try. I have loved it since I tried it. It helps a lot with any sinus headaches I get and I’ve had many times it helped me fall asleep. I didn’t know how easy it was going to be to sleep in, but it’s so relaxing I’ve fallen asleep wearing it on accident. Great idea BUT... Flaws: needs some sort of cover to keep clean from makeup oils etc.. No volume control for noises. Motor runs loud. Vibrates and massages ok..but not worth 110 dollars worth. I bought for my husband to sooth him for his migranes. This will not work. Ive tried it to see if i could tollerate how loud it is. But after 3 tries i think it will have to go back. Read more
At first glance, it seemed to be an unlikely purchase for me but I thought it would be good to wear on long haul flights. When I received it, it felt bulky and slightly heavy. The first night I tried it on the medium setting, running for 20 minutes and actually was very comfortable. I have been using the mask/massager every night before bed and am getting some of the most restful sleep ever! The unit is a little noisy, but you get used to it. I loved it for its quilty and silent factor and that's where the 5 stars start they finish with the app and great features. a solid product. tried three eye mask and this one was the best my only issues is the nose bridge is too low and fitment was spot on if they make that change and use real leather on the eye pad - it would be a best seller... nothing perfect but this is def a 5 star item - ppl are giving it less than 5 stars for reason that have nothing to do with the product - nothing is a one size fits all so you shouldn't expect it to perfect for everyone bc we all have different size faces and etc. Read more
I really wanted to love this, I still think I’ll keep it just because I got such a good deal on it to help my eyes during a migraine, but I wish it was made wider/longer to actually hit your temples! It fits pretty uncomfortably I even let my petite sister try and she complained of the same issue, thinking it was just my face at 1st... but I don’t know of anything else that does these functions on the eyes, with it on while using the massage chair totally put me to sleep the 1st I used it though and it forced me to relax which is why I decided its worth it! Deal breakers: (1) Obnoxious beeps after every session are just ridiculous (can't be disabled). (2) Sound effects implementation is bad. The sounds are good, but they play for ~15 s each and then switch to another. E.g. crickets chirp for 15s, then waves quietly crash for 15s, then you're next to a gentle stream for 15s ... it's quite distracting. (3) A lack of control over individual features independently (sound effects, vibration, heat) is an inconvenience. The only control is over three modes which can be cycled, and the setting for each mode should be listed in the product description for clarity, but they are not (I don't remember them exactly after having returned the product). Absolutely love this thing. Hubby surprised me with this after looking for something to apply temple pressure. I have MS and get frequent headaches and eye pain that feels like my eyeballs are going to pop. The warmth and compression is amazing. And the little things in there that massage my temples. Oh. My.
