This is a great sauce pan. It's hefty , as is the lid. It's gorgeous sitting on the stove, so well made. I've seen many lesser pans for twice the price. I wish Amazon had more Breville products. One caveat: It is a hefty pan, especially when it's full. A person with wrist issues or arthritis might not do well with it. It really could use a helper handle, but since it's 1.5 quart pan, they didn't add one. Other than that, it's a real value for the money! Treat it right and it will be a friend for a very long time. The pan is well-balanced, sturdy, non-stick, and easy to pour from. Beautifully finished and smooth. It's now my go-to pan for oatmeal, soups, and small batches of sauce. The lid's a nice fit, and I love pans that have a hole in the handle to hold the spoon. Great little pot! Read more

Breville's Thermal Pro cookware has a substantial thermal mass on the bottom so the pans are slow to change temperature but will hold a constant temperature with ease. This is ideal for low heat/slow cooking, conditions that are well suited to non-stick cookware. Meyer Corporation makes this pan for Breville and Meyer's other non-stick cookware works well and is durable (so long as it isn't overheated). Read more
