Before simply buying straight from the manufacturer I ordered these in April 2020 (for $6) and would have to say they work well! The threader hole is wide enough to easily slip floss through and the edges are bent in such a way that it sticks to them and remains threaded (even if the threader is dropped), and the threader itself is thick enough to easily handle and nicely angled for clean insertion between teeth/appliances. They can also be dipped in soap or hydrogen peroxide when not in use and reused for a few days to a week afterward before developing a permanent odor. The biggest con that comes to mind is that the threader hole might be too small for some, in which case finding a threader with a larger hole or tying the floss around threaders with a circular hole might be a safe bet. Otherwise I highly recommend these threaders for being thick reusable floss magnets and at a decent price! These “Bridge Aid Threaders 5 Packs of 10 (50 Each)” get a respectable 4/5 stars! Read more

These aren't easy to find locally and, in my opinion, are far superior to the more common variety that are considerably longer, and much more like light gauge monofilament. These, on the other hand, are shorter, stiffer, and have a small eyelet that makes it easier to retain the floss that you've inserted, while you are threading this item between your teeth. Another advantage of the compactness of these threaders is that it makes it relatively easy to store them with your floss dispenser. Once I've used it, I simply poke the non-eyelet end into the slot where the floss is dispensed , and close the lid. YMMV, depending on what sort of floss you use. That's the sort of thing often referred to as a "lifehack" these days. That being said, I honestly don't remember (threw away the original packaging and moved them all to a small ziploc) if the manufacturer claims they should only be used once, or not. That would be exorbitant in my mind, and I would think as long as they are kept clean, you should be able to use one for it's full lifespan. The eyelet will eventually break but, in my experience, that takes weeks or months....and I have a tight spot to thread through. When I last looked, this was also available in a larger quantity, in a small canister/jar. Your dental hygienist will thank you every six months. Read more
This floss threader works quite well for me. Having a bridge between 2 teeth requires a device that allows you to thoroughly clean under the bridge when normal floss doesn't get the job done. My dentist gave me a pack of threaders, but I just couldn't get it to work as it was too thin (flimsy) and it just wouldn't go between/under the bridge. These work just fine, and I'll be ordering more once these are gone. Read more
