Well made with quality material. So the dryer except on air fluff or delicate cycle because these are mostly nylon. They do wrinkle a bit of hung to dry but a little stream gets rid of that. These pants have been my go-to for years. I have to say I think they run slightly large, as my measurements are an inch or two over the size listing and the pants are comfortably loose. I just bought a 16 and love the way they fit, but I definitely could have opted for the 14 if I wanted a more form-fitting look. I’m 5’3” and prefer to shorten the length about 1 inch, but I have worn them with the 29” short inseam as is, and they look okay that way too (just pool a little at the ankle). The back pockets come sewn shut and you need to gently tear the stitching in order to use them. I don’t bother anymore though because they’re quite shallow and not really useful. The front pockets are not standard side pockets but are located more in the front under the waistband. The pockets aren’t optimal if you tuck in your shirt as the items in them could look bulky. Personally I never tuck my shirt and find these welt pockets perfect to hold my phone and small items. This pocket style works really well for me but may not be for everyone. They machine wash and dry just fine, but I don’t use powdered detergent or oxiclean in the wash as they often collect some of it on their surface, requiring them to be wiped down with a damp cloth to remove it. I’ve seen other reviews complaining of white residue after washing. I’ve found that this can be avoided by using only liquid detergent. I was pleasantly surprised just opening the package. The fabric had a “quality feel” to it. I was hoping I felt the same way once I tried them on. BINGO! Perfect fit! The length was a little too long but that’s not a problem. I’m 5’7” and usually the lengths are too short. These pants could be worn casual or dressy and would look great either with flats or heels. These are comfortable and soft! However they do stretch as you wear them and become too big they start to fall off. They have no loops to add a belt. So I suggest sizing down to ensure they fit! I got a new job requiring business casual and my wardrobe was lacking. I found a line of dress pants at Belks that I liked. I needed navy and they were out of my size. I ordered these from Amazon and I like them better than the Belks brand! I plan to order more. I find they are true to size.
