Although plastic, the lights look nice lining my entrance walkway. Easy to assemble. I failed to read that there is a small power switch, so the lights did not glow on the first evening. However, they have worked perfectly these first seven days. Well worth the price! Read more
I think outdoor solar lights have a tendency to look cheap or dirty very easily. And have found that to get ones that meet my aesthetic standards, I usually have to spend upwards of 20$/light. PROS: I was drawn to these due to the sleek, modern look. These are NOT your grandmas walkway lights. They came well wrapped, and were easy to assemble. They were pre-charged which was nice, because I got to see immediately how they look. They put off a good amount of light and I like the softer, warmer tones. CONS: They are plastic, which I was slightly disappointed by, but time will tell how it holds up. The best part? At less than 5$/light, they feel like something that I am OK having to leave outside and potentially replace every now and then. Read more
I’ve been wanting to light up our front walkway since we moved in 2 years ago but too many things took priority over it. So when I saw these solar lights, I loved the design, loved the solar aspect and the simplicity that I can even do it! They arrived packaged very well, very easy to set up (only 3 steps and one is to turn the switch “on”). I was pleasantly surprised when they didn’t even need a full day in the sun to work! I put them in yesterday evening while my kids were playing outside and at dusk the first started to glow and all were glowing before it was completely dark. I love them so much I put them around our pool in the back yard to replace the old wired ones the previous owner put in. To top it off, one of the lightbulb inserts fell on the cement from me standing and didn’t crack and still worked wonderfully! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Read more
Very nice but not as sturdy as I thought. Looks good Read more
Very pleased with this. Much brighter than I expected and looks more much expensive than it is. Read more
I've been trying out solar lights for almost 6 years, now that I live here in the country with no street lights for as far as one can see. The properties are pitch black, and I don't like it. Buying solar lights both from Home Depot and online, and finding mediocre ones at best. The test for me, is that they are still lit in the morning, and I mean giving off light, not a barely there dim question mark. My housemate leaves for work at 4:30 am and though the headlights give one some light as they drive, the areas still need something for us to see where things are especially deer. These lights were bought by my neighbor for another neighbor who she drives to see often, and has often almost driven into a ditch in the darkness, even with headlights. So she bought these lights to mark her driveway. And I noticed them from way across the street every morning when I open my curtains, they are lit and bright. I asked her where she got them, here on amazon, and I bought them. The first set had a malfunctioning one, so I sent it back and got a quick replacement, and those are working fine. I bought another set to light up other areas, and I will buy more because these are so bright and we like them. I will see how long they last, but so far, 2 weeks now, we are happy with them. *Edit: I have since received my second set and I'm still impressed. We've had a couple of cloudy days, entire day cloudy, and these lights were still bright at night and deep into early morning. I'll be going on my 3rd and 4th set soon! Recommend! Read more
Very nice looking and holding up well. Read more
BEWARE! These are horrible quality. Half of them are dead in leas than a year. The plastic is cheap, it yellows and cracks. The bases break and the lights themselves stop working altogether. Total waste of money! Read more
