When I had seen this on the Today Show I thought, yeah right. When it came, I plugged it in immediately and was SO SO surprised that it really does blow some serious heat....and very quickly! The remote control is very thorough and very easy to use, as well as this plug in heater is! HIGHLY recommended if you are tired of having to plug in a big and expensive to run space heater. Warms up my cold 🥶❄️ bathroom in the middle of the night. Living in my deceased grandparents home 1925 furnace isn't working properly cause it's 40 yrs old. Going to the restroom on a cold ❄️ night was unbearable cold toilet seat and room was freezing. This outlet space heater was perfect warmer temps and I put Terry cover on toilet seat no more freezing temps feeling like I was in a out house. Temperature control ,heat output ,great functionality! Brightown Plug In Space Heater. I bought this wall plug in heater to warm under my desk and it works great for that. What a game changer on a cold morning! I use a heave gauge extension cord to power it down there (no wall plug), not a light duty house extension cord. In MY situation I have it sitting on the floor and it is stable and secure from tipping. The heater is not designed to sit on the floor so be aware of that. I also move it to my bathroom wall plug prior to showering etc. to knock the chill off. (Pro tip: Do not run the exhaust fan for best results. Duh). Works well for that if given some lead time before occupying. Yes, you will need an appropriately located, unobstructed wall plug. Yes, the front gets hot where the element is located and the heat is blown out. What else would you expect?. The side surfaces remain comfortable to touch. I do not expect it to warm a normal sized room although it might for some. This unit feels well designed/built. The remote is solid feeling and more useful than I had anticipated. The touch buttons on the heater not so much depending on the location. This lower power heater has exceeded my expectations. Hope the durability does as well. Read more

If you put your hands right in front of it you can feel warmth. However this did not do anything to heat my bathroom after an hour of running on the highest setting. Read more

I have one in each bedroom and they really don't get the room that warm. Just aren't strong enough. I put them at 90, highest setting and they still don't work that great. Read more

We wanted a small plug in to take chill off bathroom for bathing/showering. This little unit does the job. It heats up pretty fast, is quiet and heats the space to a comfortable level. We plug it in 10 minutes before hand with bathroom and closet doors shut and it's nice and warm for us. We were put off at first since instructions say don't use upside down and our outlets didn’t seem compatible, then we discovered the plug turns to accommodate any outlet. 😉 So far, we give the device 5 stars.
