These are cute little night lights. I like that you can select several levels of brightness. I put these in a bathroom to see at night. My bathroom is rustic and they fit this perfectly. I love the color. Not hard on the eyes in the dark. I love the light on top and bottom. I think for them to turn off when light is on, light has to be bright or shine on side of night light. One of mine pops off and on when I turn light off and on the other is in a dim area and doesn't but when I shone a flashlight on it, it did work. These stay cool to touch when on. I love them. The media could not be loaded. I didn’t know these come with two which is awesome ! They put out more lithe than I thought they would ! I bought these to fill the theme of a witchy bathroom and it delivers. It has a setting where you can only use the candle light and a setting where you can use the candle and bottom light using the same amber color the makes it even brighter . And on the side you can turn the intensity up and down of how dim you want the light to be . I would definitely buy more if our house had a lot more outlets . The sturdiness and quality don’t look cheap. And it not to big or to small . I didn't see that these were a two pack, so I inadvertently ordered four lights total. That's alright, as there are a lot of places I can put these. They definitely light up my hallways so it's safer to walk at night ( my cats light to lounge near the stairs, for example). When I put one in my room with the lights on, the light turned on. I thought it was strange since I was under the impression that these were meant to only come on in the dark. I put it in another outlet since I thought that it didn't have a direct line of sight to the overhead light. As you can see in the picture, it still turned on even in the light. I guess I'll worry about that another day. Might knock it down to four stars if all of them, regardless of location, stay lit in both daylight and the presence of artificial light. I love these little lights!!! They are amazingly adjustable! The sliding controls make it so easy to please each member of my family. I chose the brightness and if the candle flickers or not and each member of my picky family has theirs just the way they like it!! And since it comes in a multi pack I have one for every person! These are great. Whether you want a romantic or scary ambience. They can be very bright or dim, based on your preference. We got them for our Hogwarts themed kitchen, but decided to get 2 more for the hallways. Will probably get another set for our bedroom/bathroom suite. Read more
