This soap is great. It is a super economical alternative to more expensive brands I will allow to remain nameless -- looking at you "doctor". I cut it with water so it works well in a foaming pump type dispenser which extends the value even more. I use it at the kitchen sink to wash my hands when I don't need to use the far more harsh detergent to sanitize my hands. That bottle I just cut with water and use plain. I keep one in the shower that I like to add essential oils to like rosemary, lavender, peppermint and tea tree. It makes a great body wash and I also use it on my scalp and beard. Since you get to control the ingredients you can make it as strong or gentle as you like. No scent, customized scent through the use of essential oils, you are in control. I never feel like the soap dries my skin and it is far more gentile than using detergent all the time at the kitchen sink. Can I prove that? Yes I can. I've never had skin problems until suddenly one Autumn several years ago, and boy have my hands been mistreated over the years from work and rarely using hand lotion. My doctor told me I had dyshidrotic eczema and gave me a steroid cream to use. I found I could get by with half strength OTC meds but regardless it was taking a toll on my skin in its own way. Long story short I started reducing my exposure to the detergent at the kitchen sink by using the castile soap when possible and the problem disappeared. Read more

Brittanie’s Pure Organic Castile Liquid Olive Oil Soap is exactly what I was looking for — simple, clean ingredients with no harsh chemicals. It’s gentle on my skin but still gets the job done, whether I’m using it as a body wash, hand soap, or even for light cleaning around the house. The olive oil base leaves my skin feeling soft instead of stripped, and a little goes a long way. I also love that it’s organic and unscented, so I can add my own essential oils if I want. If you’re looking for a versatile, high-quality Castile soap, this is a great choice. Read more

I use this to refill the foaming hand soap containers in my house. It’s a great value because it only takes a little bit mixed with water to do the job. The soap is fragrance free and it’s easy on the skin. It has a nice amount of lather even diluted in the foaming hand soap container. It doesn’t take much to get my hands clean. The price was right, so I tried this brand. I’m glad that I did. Read more

I love Castile soap and this is a great one, only downside. It separates, I have to shake it a lot to keep it together. I didn’t experience this with another brand I have used. Read more

We use this soap as our body wash with half parts distilled water and a slash of almond oil. It’s incredibly gentle and works better than traditional body soap. We’re a family of four and this gallon lasted up three months! I highly recommend it!! Read more

I wanted to love this product so much. I use Dr Bronners and wanted a cheaper and just as healthy alternative. The best part is that it's natural, the worst part is that the skin on my hands peel whenever I use this product. It's so upsetting because it's supposed to be low tox, yet something is aggravating my skin in this product. I wouldn't advise others to use it. It doesn't lather well, but it does lather eventually. When adding to water for an all purpose spray, the water gets cloudy (doesn't do this with Dr Bronners) and obviously isn't as powerful. When using to wash dishes, it leaves residue behind (while Bronners does not). I had to eventually go buy the brand that works for dishes, and have been using this for hand soap and body wash. The issue is that if it makes my hands peel, what effect is it having on the rest of our bodies when used? I love the natural ingredients. I hate it's ineffectiveness AND it makes my hands peel. Very disappointed Read more

This is the only Castile soap I will use. I love this soap. I've had some Castile soap that is very watery and this is not that way. The consistency is thick but not too thick. It's just what I was looking for. Read more
