These are great comfortable shorts. The material is very thin, soft, and stretchy. They manage to feel cool to the touch while wearing them. While walking the shorts touch your knees and sometimes even feel cold when you are in air conditioning. There are little holes behind the knee that keep you cool in the creases behind your knees. They are very lightweight and barely feel like they are there. I would like to have multiple pairs for around the house, lounging, and playing outside. They are true to size and fit very comfortably. Not too long and not too short, they go to right around your knees. The back side of the leg is a little longer than the front so the back of your knee gets covered but not the front. I like my running shorts up away from my knees. And that is my only complaint with these shorts. The back of the legs, which is longer than the front (an interesting design choice I like the look of - men's clothes tend to be pretty freaking boring. Something different once in a while is nice), touch the back of my knees. Usually long shorts are annoying for running as they bunch or slide while in use. These shorts are surprisingly comfortable and out of the way. Very soft, no liner (big plus!), and I 'forget' I'm wearing them (in a manner of speaking). I currently have a 35" waist with an expectation to get down to 32", possibly 31 in the next 6 to 8 weeks. The mediums I got are comfortable now, just a bit snug. I have enough experience with my clothes and my habit of getting thicker in the winter, then thinner in spring to know these will still fit comfortable when I reduce my diameter by a few inches. The flat drawstrings are quality and have rubberized ends, the zippers I can open and close with one hand while wearing the shorts (and they move smoothly (near as I can tell they are metal pulls with a composite or plastic teeth). The 2 front pockets are large enough to fit a full size phone in a case. There is no back pocket for a wallet, but a wallet and keys will fit into a front pocket if heading to the store. The fabric is a bit stretchy and lightweight, so is good for activity even in warm weather. The holes on the sides of the lower leg likely help as well. The waistband is fairly tight compared to other shorts. It fits me, but I'm in the normal range in the a BMI table. Anyone carrying weight low may want to go up the size. The rest of the shorts are not restrictive. It is mainly the waistband. Though it may relax over time. Read more

They're really lightweight and comfortable and he says they fit true to size. The length hits him just below the knee, but my husband has a 29" inseam, so everything is too long on him. They would be perfect for wearing during any activity - hiking, exercise, yardwork, or just lounging around. They are quick-dry, and I didn't notice any shrinkage or fading after being washed.
