I love these shorts. I had actually got a track jacket from them a while back, and when I was looking for a new pair of running shorts, I saw these and I said, "Yeah, I definitely got to get them." I love the hidden pocket for the phone; that is like my top priority in running shorts, and I walk in them. I don't run because of my knees, but running shorts are just more comfortable. I think these are just super comfortable. The material is just super soft, and it feels great against the skin, no chafing. Yeah, I just love the secret pocket for the phone; that's just top priority for me in shorts, whether they're for exercising or not, just casual too. Great fit, fit as expected. I have medium, and then I got a medium, and it fits just right. I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a pair of casual or running shorts. Read more

The fabric on these is a bit on the slick side, like maybe a little closer to parachute pants or board shorts than I'd like. That really doesn't matter, though, because they are SO SO SO SMALL. As a side note, there's literally less than zero reason to have a weight listed on the size chart. There's a big difference in an 180 pound person who's 6 feet versus 5'6" -- and even then, the 5'6" person could be a solid wall of muscle, which is going to be distributed differently. It's just an annoyance and frankly borderline offensive because it's pretending to be data that makes the chart look like they've got far more useful information than they actually have. Anyway. Check the size chart, and also assume that with zero stretch the higher end of the waist measurement is an entire pipe dream. These did not earn their keep and are going straight to the donation pile. My star ratings explained: 5 - Outstanding intersection of price and quality, an excellent product for an excellent price. Absolutely recommend. 4 - Good product at a good to reasonable price, no major complaints. It may have some minor flaws or areas for improvement, but I would still generally recommend for most people or for situations specifically covered in the review. Excellent but overpriced products may also land here. 3 - Aggressively mid for some reason, either the product itself, poor enough listing that it impacts customer experience, or price high enough that I would tend not to recommend on that basis. For example, clothing listings with lack of size chart or pieces that do not conform to the size chart may land here, as will clothing with questionable fabric or construction. Jewelry with a listing that plays fast and loose with terminology as compared to the actual product in a mild to moderate way may also land in this range. I do not generally recommend, but there may be some niche circumstances where it would be of potential use. 2 - Not even mid. Something here is not matching up with the description, or the quality is so poor that I cannot in good conscience recommend it in any situation I can think of. Descriptions might be poor enough not only to impact customer experience, but play fast and loose with terminology in a particularly egregious way. 1 - If I'm giving a one-star review, there is something WRONG, and I believe it to be intentional -- eg not the fabric described, not the materials promised (esp with regard to leather, cashmere, silk, or jewelry), or similar issue such that I would tend to recommend avoiding the product altogether. I don't just not-recommend this, I anti-recommend this. Read more
So far, these are proving to be nice shorts for my husband. The material is a gym short feel.. I wouldn't say a "100% cotton feel" as the shorts are 65% cotton and 35% polyester so its more of a soft with a touch of silky feel. My husband said that they are very comfortable on though. They fit tailored. They are baggy or "sweat pant" looking but have a clean/high end look to them. He likes the drawstrings although he said for him, he doesn't really need them to keep the shorts on comfortably as he said that they fit well. The length is great. The stitching is reinforced which I LOVE as it means the shorts will last through repeated wear, tear, and washings. The pockets are comfortable and enable him to keep his keys in comfortably. A huge huge bonus is the zippered pocket inside the side pocket! He said this was the best touch as he can slide his wallet into it and not worry about it falling out while he is working out. The shorts run through the washer and dryer just fine and come out looking great. I like that they haven't developed pile on them from the wash/dry cycle as some 100% cotton clothes will do sometimes. He said that they are comfortable wearing in terms of them not getting too hot. Overall, great pair of shorts for the gym or working around the house. Read more
I was interested in these gym shorts but was wondering about the size and length. The description mentions slim fit and the size chart mentions to “size up when loose” so I assumed that meant if I wanted to ensure a comfy fit I order a bigger size which I did. I ordered an XL rather than my usual Large. This worked out well as these shorts fit comfortably with plenty of room for my legs/thighs. Being 5’6” I appreciated that these shorts are not too short and come down almost to my knees which I wanted. The waist band is elastic and will stretch out 3” to 4” more. The built in drawstring is a nice feature as well. I also like the extra hidden zipper pocket in the right side pocket which keeps things secure when working out. Overall a great pair of gym shorts! I’ve tried a lot of workout shorts over the years, and the BROKIG Zero Armor 7" shorts are easily one of the best pairs I’ve owned. The fit is excellent—definitely on the slimmer side and a little snug at first—but still comfortable and not restrictive once you start moving. The 7-inch inseam hits a great balance between mobility and coverage, giving them a clean athletic look. What really stands out is the comfort. The cotton blend is soft and breathable, which makes a big difference during longer workouts. I’ve worn them for lifting sessions, cardio, and even just around the house, and they never feel stiff or heavy. The anti-chafing design actually works, which is something many brands claim but rarely deliver. If you like a modern athletic fit and don’t mind a slightly snug feel, these are an excellent pair of gym shorts. I’ll definitely be buying another pair. Read more
