It was a little bit difficult to understand the management software and the chorded inputs with Select, but it’s given new life on my PC to the fight stick I purchased near the end of the PS2‘s reign as the machine for fighting games and official home releases of retrogames. I suppose it could do the same for your OEM DualShock 2 or your awful “player 2 controller”, but I’d rather not find out. Understanding the software is only important for specific needs, such as macros, turbo, or moving between different console types; otherwise, I can at least attest it works well emulating an XBox controller for Steam Input and that’s how I use it. I do not perceive any issues with the input registration. The keychain and stickers are cute. Due to the small size, I fear whether the the snap hook keeping the chameleon mascot fella attached to the keyring will survive my pocket, so perhaps I will use it to decorate a bag instead. At any rate, the acrylic itself ought to hold up. Read more

I'm somewhat interested in new games but they don't quite hit the same as the old classics. I have an 8bitdo controller (several) but it doesn't work for some of the older games. I particularly wanted to use this for beatmania games as I still had my old controller but didn't have a way to connect them. This one works well and I don't notice any type of lag at all. Works well connecting to both my Mac and also my Odin 2. Read more

I was only able to test with a PS2 controller: I'm conflicted. I tried on both a PS5, my PC and my Macbook. As an adapter for a controller, it works amazingly well. Setting up Remapping/Turbo/Macros was incredibly tedious and a bit sketchy. I have better controllers that don't need remapping. I enjoyed using the PS2 controllers again. But, its JUST AN ADAPTER. Overpriced in my eyes. The build quality and design are... so so. The adapter itself is very lightweight, which is good IMO. It doesn't weight down the USB ports on the console. Feels a bit cheap. It connects to my PS5 and PC out of the box. The stickers and the keychain are super cute though. Read more

This Brook FGC Retro with Keychain is an amazing solution for using legacy controllers on modern systems. It works well and is incredibly easy to use, allowing you to connect PS1 and PS2 controllers to your PS5, PS4, or PC with minimal effort. One of its best features is how small and lightweight it is, making it extremely portable. You can easily carry it in your pocket or attach it to your keys with the included keychain. It’s perfect for bringing your favorite arcade sticks or dance mats back to life on current hardware. I highly recommend this adapter for any retro gaming fan! Read more

This little thing is super cool. I was anticipating struggling with, and maybe if you do some super fancy tweaks or customization I am not capable of you will get more in depth with it, but for me? It was plug and play. I was able to use my PS2 controller on my PC, which is so satisfying in a way that I can't explain. No noticeable lag or connection issues. No loss of any functions from the controller. This is a brilliant little thingamabob, and I am so grateful that someone dreamed it up AND made it well. It is simple, sturdy enough, doesn't get hot or take up a lot of space. It's just simply cool. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I've been tinkering with this adapter for a few days now and I haven't been able to get it to work. When I plug in the adapter and a dualshock controller, my pc can detect the thumb sticks moving but no other button is detected. I've tried updating the firmware and still all the same. Pressing the adapter button causes all buttons to be repeatedly pressed. Bummer I was really excited to use this adapter. Not sure if the issue is a faulty adapter or if it just don't work. Read more

Works exactly as it should and the retro PlayStation look is a nice bonus. Easy to use and feels well made. The keychain is a fun touch too. Great buy. I definitely think that it is worth the value for your money and it doesn’t lag. Read more
